Crystal's POV
I wake up to something wet and rough slobbering on my face. I open my eyes to find Cody on my stomach wagging his tail like he just won the lottery. I giggle at Cody's adorable excitement and peel him off me.
"Hi Cody." I giggle. Cody sits on the side of the bed and waits for me to get up.
"Alright! Alright! I'm up!!" I surrender. He starts jumping around and accidentally falls off the bed with a thud. I laugh historically at him until it doesn't funny any more. I look out the window to see that it's night time and then at the side the bed and realize that Jack isn't here any more. I look over a Cody to see him sitting at the door waiting patiently for it to open. I turn to th direction of which I get off my side of the bed and find a note on the nightstand. I grab the small paper which read:
'Hello Crystal,
I'm sorry I could wake up beside you to see your beautiful face tonight, but I had to go eat dinner with the family. You can come down stairs when your ready to come eat with us. I'll see you when you get down ;)
, Jack
P.s.: wear something nice ;)'
His neat handwriting had me for a while. Every curve and line was perfect. But I quickly snapped out of it when I remembered the letter saying dinner. I turned the note over to see if there were any directions to the dinning room, and it did. I smiled at Jacks cleverness and jumped out of bed, kind of happy. I mean, I was still mad at him for kidnapping me and all, but this wasn't as bad as I though it would be.
I ran into the closet and opened it. I found MY clothes already In there. How did he get them? Does he know someone that knows where I live? Or does he know where I live. To be honest, I was a little creeped out, but I shrugged it off and grabbed some clothes. This is strange. Why am I acting like this? All happy and hyper and energetic for this dinner? I should be worrying my pants off! As a matter of fact, I should be not going to it at all!! What's happened to me lately?
The real me wouldn't be going to to this, but be finding a way to get back home. That's when I snapped back to reality. I dropped what ever I was holding or doing and stood there. What had happened to me? I've been acting like a love stuck teenager! For a kidnapper?! I checked my self, my body, too see if I had any wires attached to me. Then I checked to see if I had a fever or the flu. Then when I found out I was completely normal I panicked. What is seriously wrong with me? I need to fix this, do something, anything! Then I got an idea. It was mischievous and probably the best one yet in these situations. I had a plan and it was going to work, it has to.
Jack's POV
It was perfect. Everyone knew what to do and how to act and what was right to say. Since she doesn't know about this wolf situation, I told everyone to act as if we were a big family, which we were, but it was complicated. I was going to tell her after the dinner what I was and hopefully she would except me. I mean, she is falling for me, with the mate pull I mean. She will except me and then we would talk about the bite process when I think she can handle everything. But anyway, We were all sitting at the table talking to relatives about randomness, or talking to the Elders about knew position arrangements for tonight's Territorial Boarder Patrol, or TBP.
