GWEN grabbed her backpack and raced out of the door. She had just in the nick of time slipped on one of her many worn-out shoes and she then raced down the stairs, breathing harder as she ran towards the bus stop, the bus already on its way to the school.

She groans out of exhaustion while she runs faster, not even paying attention to any of her surroundings but the bus. Only the bus. She cleared her mind of any other things and vigorously moved her legs to the beat of her heart racing faster by the minute.

Come on, Come on, Come on, She pleaded in her thoughts as it seemed the bus was driving faster and farther away from where Gwen was running. She didn't notice the medium-sized rock that was a few feet in front of her until her shoe stumbled over it, causing her body to stop running and fall onto the ground.

She felt her head pounding from the hard impact and her brain already working up a headache. Great.

She used her arms to prop herself up and then looked at her hands, seeing them dusted with the gravel of the hard floor, and she kicked the rock with her shoe angrily.

She had missed the bus, which means she had two options she both despised.

She had to swing there or she had to walk there. The long way.

But before she could think again, there was a sudden crackling sound. It was nearly silent, but it was loud enough for Gwen to hear. She whipped around feeling a tingling sensation in the back of her head. Her sense was going off. She whipped around, half expecting to see someone about to throw something at her, and then she looked down and saw something bizarre.

A swirl of many different colors was ripping through the gravel underneath her feet, the colors shaped in a spiral shape and it was expanding wider until it became some sort of a wormhole. Gwen's eyes squinted in confusion, and she turned her head to see if anyone was around.

Then Gwen felt a strong pull against her legs. She realized the strange hole was pulling her into it. One foot then slipped in the strange appearing wormhole and then both of her legs were being sucked in. She then saw a street pole beside her and she grabs it instinctively but does nothing to help her as the spiral sucks her in.
