Hinata isn't entirely sure about this shrine (the same thing Komaeda had deemed a 'hopeless object' that he couldn't even stand to look at for even one more second) that Saionji-san had so-clearly set up in the restaurant but if it really made her feel better, he supposed it is alright. . .probably.
Anyways, she did manage to convince everyone to leave it alone for now (with the help of some quite violent and graphic threats) but that wasn't what's important right now. No, the Third Island had finally opened up.
As everyone prepares to head over, his eyes flicker over to Komaeda who's getting ready alone. He feels his heart pang, watching everyone shun the boy he loves. . .even if he has done some pretty questionable things.
Hinata sighs and walks over to him, tapping him on the shoulder. Komaeda whirls around, startled before immediately grinning down at him. "Hinata-kun, what a pleasant surprise! What can I do for you? Do you wish to kill me while everyone is distracted with the new island?"
The brunet groans. "What? No, never. I just. . .wanted to know if you wanted to explore the new island together? Ya know. . .like a team. Like we were in the beginning. For old time's sake."
Komaeda's eyes widen. "Huh? R-Really?! Alright, if an Ultimate really wishes to spend time with someone as lowly as myself, then who I am to deny him? Let's go."
Hinata smiles slightly. ". . .Yeah."

"Wow. . ," Hinata comments as they begin walking together side-by-side along the Third Island, "This place. . .the ambience is completely different here than the other islands. This barely feels like a resort with all the residences and ruins in shambles. . .No sign of people here as well. It feels a little dangerous, huh?"
"Hmm. . ," Komaeda hums, "Perhaps a little! But I'm feeling quite optimistic! And hopeful! Come on, Hinata-kun, let's figure out what we're going to look at first!"
"Alright. . ," Hinata strokes his chin thoughtfully, "Okay, how about I check out this Electric Avenue and you check out the Movie Theatre and then we can meet back up, alright?"
Komaeda shrugs. "Sounds good to me. I'll see you in a bit, Hinata-kun!"
And with those words, Komaeda gracefully flits away, leaving Hinata to enter Electric Avenue on his own.
He looks around slowly, taking in the small, narrow booths of electronic appliances; machines and other parts cluttered together on display. His eyes immediately fall to the laptop corner, taking a couple steps closer to thoroughly examine it.
One particular laptop stands out to him more than the others and he quickly moves to boot it up.
"Usami X File," Hinata mutters, "What is this?"
He clicks the icon and reads the words that pop up.
'About the Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History. This horrendous event originated with some students of Hope's Peak Academy causing a revolt. The students of the Reserve Department were dissatisfied with being treated differently than the Primary Department, and began to fight the academy. At first the dispute was confined to campus, and hopes were high that it would settle down someday. . .But things quickly escalated. Behind the scenes of this rebellion, a huge authority was exerting it's influence. Eventually it spread like an infection, provoking riots in various parts of the world. It was unlike any previous act of terrorism or coup d'état. . .It seemed to have a much different purpose. However, no matter what we assume, we simply cannot apply reason to this subversive moment. Nonetheless, the destruction is not chaotic or disorganized. . .It is both purposeful and malicious. . .'
