"STOP HERE" ROWAN instructed, her eyes falling to a grassy hill on the side of the road.

Rick looked around, "You sure this is it?" He asked.

Rowan, "I think I know where my childhood home is, thanks" she deadpanned.

"Right, sorry. Continue" he offered.

The pair got out of the vehicle, both scanning the place for any hint of walkers. However, this area seemed to be empty, her father had picked his spot well. He had always been a more isolated person, his home and personality being very distant from others, aside from his daughter.

Morgan and Duane hopped out of the car,

"This is it?" Duane asked confused.

Rowan sighed, "Over this hill here, sugar. Welcome to the James' estate" she said sarcastically to the boy.

She wasted no time and hurried up the grassy hill, the boys following behind her. There was an urgency in her movements, for unbeknownst to the men, this place was going to give her more than weapons. It was going to give her answers. Something she desperately craved.

Atop the hill, only two buildings were visible. A brown wooden shack to the right, which was closest to the group, then a larger white building farther out.

Rowan pointed to the brown shack, "That's where the bunker is" she said, her feet already moving towards the structure.

She led the boys past the front entrance and towards the backside of the building. The building connected to a wooden door situated near the floor, leading to the underground cellar. Rowan didn't hesitate to lift the doors open, only to find a set of metal doors beneath. There was no lock, only a metal wheel on the front.

The boys all watched her confused, wondering how the hell her father had this.

Rowan got down on her knees, "This is a wheel lock, you have to turn it in a certain pattern in order to unlock it" she informed them.

"See this chipped paint here?" She pointed to the slightly discolored area on the wheel,

"That's the starting point. We use this to measure how far we turn. Once you turn it and the chipped paint comes back to the top, that's one's full rotation. The combination should be one full rotation to the right, two full ones left, one half right, and then one half left" she explained.

With a grunt, she twisted the metal wheel to the right, slowly bringing it all the way around. She did the rest of the combination as she described and after the final turn, the door let out a loud click.
