Bang.

Anakin shot upwards, looking over at the window, as tg light turned on

"What was that." He whispered.

Silence.

He looked downwards, the light flickering off.

Bang.

The light came on again.

Silence.

The light went off.

Padmé lifted her face mask.

"Ani?"

"Yes, dear?"

"You using your power to turn on the light?" She deadpanned.

"Yes, dear."

She pulled the covers off of her.

"Allow me, sweetheart."

She turned on the light, moving towards the window on caution, peering through.

"What do you see?" Anakin asked.

"Only your lovely rose bushes."

That's all?"

"I assure you, my love, I see nothing amiss. You have absolutely no reason to be frightened-"

Bang.

She yelped, jumping into her bed, pulling the comforter to her chin.

"You were saying?"

"It could be Ahsoka pulling a dirty little prank on us - Actually, I did hear a couple of lads at work remarking on a few unsavoury characters settling in the neighbourhood. Now, who knows what those ne'er-do-wells might be up to? Robbing houses, vandalizing property."

"Reading minds, moving objects without touching them." He whispered the last part as if to make it scary.

"Ani, darling, you can't be suggesting my colleagues were referring to us."

Bang.

They gasped, and Anakin magically moved their beds together.

"One of us should really determine the source of that sound." Padmé murmured.

Anakin turned to his wife.

"Yes, one of us should."

Bang.
