*Gasp!!

"Aylaaaa!! Mera phone do!!"

Airaa screamed mortified as Aylaa snatched her phone from her hands and scrolled through the messages.

It was normal for them to read each other's chats. Aylaa would run to Airaa when Haider would send her a romantic quote or a love poem and then squeal in delight, asking for advice. While Airaa, who didn't have a single romantic bone in her body, would just roll her eyes and reply something like "Eww.. How cheap." or "Yuck... Why would he say that..." or "That's soo weird...issko kya hogaya hai?"

Aylaa being aware of her sister's nature would grin at her cheekily and say something like, "Jealous kyun ho rahi ho! Aap kaa bhi time ajaye gaa."

However this was different. It would be the first time in her 19 years of life that Aylaa got to tease her sister for talking to a boy. She wasn't gonna give up easy. But for Airaa this was supremely humiliating.

"Ohoooo!!!! Kya batien ho rahi hain?! Hmm!!" She spoke loudly, her eyes popping wide seeing the long chat, "Bohat bighad gayi hai yeh larki! Toba toba!!" She laughed running away to the dinning.

"Do yarr!!" Airaa lunged forward and shrieking Aylaa ran to the left of the dinning.

Another ping sounded and Aylaa read aloud.

Fazool insan:
"Kyaa iss khamoshi kaa matlb Haan hai??😉😉
😆😆😆😆"

"Buhahahahaha!!!!" She burst in laughter, waving her phone in the air, and Airaa's face got redder. She jumped to the left yelling loud.

"Aylaa yeh kyaa batameezi haai!! Do mujhe!!! Iss insan ka main mun tor dun gi!! Cheapster salaa!" She curled her fists tightly getting highly frustrated at both Aylaa and Ayaan.

Anita, their house maid watched the sisters, her mouth dropping in a wide O. She rarely ever saw them in this playful state. Especially Airaa.

They were supposed to be ever poised and graceful, as per their mother's command. Because Fatima never liked her girl's hollering about the house in front of the house help.

Normally, the house was as silent as an owl's home. The mister and missus would leave for work after breakfast, sometimes even on Sundays.

Aylaa, when free, moped around or left to meet a friend or went to her phuppo's house. While Airaa would keep herself busy, studying, sketching or socializing.

If Ayla forced her, they would sometimes watch a movie together, go out, or bake a cake. Other than that they'd be quite distant.

But this running around the house shrieking with laughter? It was utterly forbidden by their parents.

Even though Anita felt like it was the most normal thing for siblings in almost every household. But not in this one, because according to Fatima Kamran, this was no ordinary family they were people of high class. And they didn't go around acting like ordinary middle class families.

Anita actually felt sorry for the girls sometimes. She had been observing them since childhood and she hadn't seen two more miserable children than these.

She pitied Airaa than Aylaa, because no normal child should have the lonely childhood she had, had. Not allowed to play with the children of the neighbors, not allowed to talk much with others her age, she was raised to be a secluded star. Because Mr. and Mrs. Kamran believed other children will have a bad influence on their daughter. They wanted Airaa to be perfect and she was. They wanted her to rule and she did. She was supposed to keep a distance from her cousins even. Anytime they would come over, she would be trying to order them around and make her follow them instead of playing like an equal.
