Baby don't feel bad at all

"You can't be serious" Pansy exclaimed, "You told me you left it in the forbidden forest" She couldn't believe that her husband had kept it a secret for so long.

Harry sat on the sofa, leant back, rubbing his chin in frustration.

"I was going to get rid of it", he sighed, " but I thought that what if one day, Molly would want to talk to Fred, or.."

"Or if one of us died" Theo said monotone.

Harry couldn't bring himself to get rid of the resurrection stone, there was something in his gut that told him he had to keep it.

Pansy stood up angrily.

"You do realise what this will do to her?" She shouted, "she needs to move on, we all need to move on, and giving her that bloody stone isn't going to help her"

"But it might help her Pans.." Blaise replied, "it might help us all get that closure"

"The bastard didn't even leave a note, what if what he says to her hurts her more" she threw her hands in the air out of frustration, tears now pouring down her face.

"We all miss him, god I miss him, he was my best friend, but he wanted to die, he didn't want to carry on, otherwise he would have stayed. He would have given us a reason, left us something, a fucking note maybe.. god I don't know, I'm so angry at him"

Tears now flowed down her face freely, as Harry stood up and pulled his wife into his arms in a tight embrace.

"The bastard left us, left her" she sniffed into his shoulder.

I know you take it personal

Hermione sat on her sofa, taking in the information her friends had told her.

"I want to use it" she said, no emotion in her voice.

"Are you sure Hermione?" Blaise asked, sitting next to her putting a hand on her knee.

"I deserve an explanation"

And she did, they all did. No one could understand how it got so bad for him, all feeling guilty.

It was the guilt that was the worst. Ate them all up individually. He wanted to get rid of their pain of having to deal with being associated with him, but he ended up just replacing that struggle with unexplainable grief.

When Harry told her he still had the resurrection stone, she was stuck in a conflict in her head.

She hated Draco. Hated him so much for leaving her on her own, to deal with all this grief. And it sat on her like a weight that consumed her almost completely. She was unable to keep any kind of food down, which got to a point that her old clothes now hung off her body.

When she fainted, at the Potters house, that was the final straw. They had to bring a healer in.

Severely malnourished..... iron deficient.... significant weight loss....

But she didn't care. She wanted to die. Every minute was a reminder to her that she was alive and her love was not.

"How could he leave me?" Her voice broke as she asked the question to the group, a sob escaping from her lips.

"How could he leave me on my own, I needed him and he left me? How could he"

"Gods every morning I wish he was here, I don't want to be here anymore without him, what's the point"

All 4 friends looked on so concerned, concerned for their friends well-being.

It was Theo that spoke up first.

"Don't you dare Hermione. Don't you dare even think of doing what he did. Don't you dare inflict that pain on us again."

"Theo mate.. don't" Blaise warned

"No, no she needs to fucking hear this" he shouted, as he crouched down in-front of her, taking her hands in his. "Draco has died, he is gone. We can't bring him back, but we can't lose you either. Now the stone is your choice, ask him all the questions you need to hear if you want"

Hermione nodded at him,

"But it will not bring him back, you know the consequences of using it too much, it will not fix this. It's a temporary band aid, but the pain will still be there after"

Her lips now trembling.

"I know it hurts, gods I know." Theo stroked her cheek. "But we need to here, we can't lose you either. You need to stay and fight, use that Gryffindor courage and bravery us Slytherins know you have,"

"Please 'Mione," Harry now spoke. "I can't lose another of my best friends"

She needed to stop blaming herself. But they all knew it would take some time.
