The laughter of Yeosang and Sorn travels through the empty cafe.
The others look up at the sound.
"Does Yeosang know her?" San asks
"Do you think they dated before?" one of the others asks.
"Wooyoung, Yeosang talking to a girl doesn't mean they're dating." one says.
"Seongwha is right. Don't make random assumptions." Hongjoong adds
"Well he should stop talking to her so she can bring our food." San says whilst rolling his eyes.
Sorn looks over to the others at the booth.
"Your friends are looking at us. I guess they want their food."
"I guess so" Yeosang replies.
"Do you guys always hang out together?" Sorn asks being her curious self.
"We're actually trainees" Yeosang answers "We'll be debuting soon."
"So you're an idol?" Sorn asks surprised
Yeosang laughes "Not yet but we will be soon" he answers.
"Well I should go back to the guys"
"And I should get the pizzas" Sorn says as she walks to the kitchen.
Wow she looks even beter than in highschool Yeosang thinks to himself as he walks back to the booth and sits down.
"Yeosang do you know that girl from somewhere?" the first question pops up.
Of course they'll attack me with questions now he thought.
"Yeah I know Sorn from highschool Yunho." Yeosang replies not really in the mood for the questions.
"Wooyoung said it was your girlfriend!" one of the others yell out.
"Keep queit Jongho. No I didn't say anything Yeosang bro" Wooyoung quickly tries and defend himself.
"Don't even try to lie Wooyoung" one said whilst laughing.
"Well seems like Jongho and Mingi just exposed you" San says whilst joining in with Mingi's laughter.
"Well she's not my girlfriend" Yeosang answers. "And I don't know why this is so important to you guys"
Sorn walks to the booth with the food.
"Here you go guys" she places the food on the table. "Anything else?"
"Yes actually" San anwers whilst looking straight into Sorn's eyes. She's shocked by the sudden eye contact but doesn't show it on her face.
"Can I have your number?" he asks without batting an eye.
Sorn is caught or guard and considers running away.
Yeosang stares in amazement at the events happening in front of him. San has always been like this, approaching girls even if he knows someone else might be interested. His words are always All is fair in love and war.
"Wow San so brave!" Yunho says with a shocked facial expression.
"What do you expect from him?" Seongwha asked.
"I'm not even surprised" Hongjoong adds on.
"So, will you give it to me?" San asks again with a little smirk on his lips.
"Are you serious?" Sorn asks not even sure if this is really happening.
"Yeah" San says as he gets up and takes out his phone.
Sorn takes out her phone and San scans the QR code.
"Thanks cutie" he said with a wink.
Sorn turns around quickly and walk away a little flustered.
What just happened? she thinks to herself.
"Wow San. Just like that?" Wooyoung asks.
"What?" San laughs "She's cute. I couldn't let the opportunity pass me by."
While saying theses words San looks up at Yeosang staring at him. Maybe Yeosang did like Sorn, he thought. But you snooze you lose, he thinks as he continues talking to Wooyoung.
It's 01:45 and Sorn shift is ending soon. While the guys was still in the cafe Sorn decided to stay in the kitchen and offered to wash dishes instead. She was to flustered by the cute guy that asked for her number.
As Sorn is preparing to leave she hears her phone go off. She opens it and there's a message that reads.
"Goodnight Sorn. It's me Yeosang.
Yeosang? Isn't San the one that asked me for my number? Sorn puts her phone in her bag without opening the message. She wants to get home as soon as possible.
When arriving at home Sorn kicks her shoes off and head straight to her room. She lives in a 1 bedroom apartment with her best friend Taegi.
Taegi is a night owl so as always Sorn finds her sitting in front of the computer in the dark room with only the moonlight shining through the window.
As Sorn enters the room without looking up from her screen Taegi says "Sorra make me coffee."
Taegi is the only one that calls Sorn Sorra cause she said she wanted to call Sorn in her own unique way.
"Aegi you're not a baby. I'm tired" Sorn says taking off her pants and plopping onto the bed.
"But you called me Aeagi" Taegi says with a pouty face. "How was work tonight?"
Sorn proceeds to tell Taegi about work and the eight guys and how one asked for her number but another one texted her.
"So aren't you gonna text this Yeosang fella back?" Taegi asks curiously.
"I don't know what to say" Sorn says pushing her face into the pillow.
"Hey. Where's your bracelet?" Taegi asks knowing that Sorn barely takes it off.
"I usually put it in my bag when I'm at work so I don't lose it." Sorn says as she picks her bag up from the floor. She doesn't see it and looks in her jacket, not there either.
"Damn! I guess I left it at work. I'll go look tomorrow" she says as she lays down and pull the covers over her head.
"My charger is still there too"
"Well I'm gonna go and make me coffee" Taegi says as she leaves the room. "And text the cute boy Sorra!"
Maybe I should text him back, Sorn wonders. She takes out her phone and types a message.
Hey Yeosang
Sorn I thought you'd never reply
No I was on my way home then
Okay. San gave me your number btw
Haha. Why?
He said he knew I really wanted to ask you but I'm too shy
Aww your friend is sweet. And it's okay that he gave it to you.
Great. We should hang out sometimes and reminisce about the old days LOL
HAHA. You make us sound like old people.
