"I did!" said Harry at once, "I asked Ron and and Hermione but they said we're not allowed in the Order-"
"And they're quite right," interrupted Mrs Weasley sternly, "You are too young."
"Hey, since when did someone have to be in the Order to ask questions? Harry's been trapped in that Muggle house for a month, he deserves to know-" Sirius started but was cut off from angry outbursts from the twins.
"How come Harry gets his questions answered?" roared Fred.
"He's not even of age!" yelled George in agreement.
"Neither is that girl-" Ron started, a bit nastily, but was cut off by his mum's angry glare and quickly shut up.
"It's not my fault you haven't been told what the Order's doing." said Sirius calmly, "Evalina is here for a reason and Harry, on the other hand-"
"It's not down to you to decide what's good for Harry!" said Molly, clearly very annoyed.
"You haven't forgotten what Dumbledore said, I suppose, Sirius?"
"Which bit?" said Sirius with an air of politeness and an air of a man getting ready to defend himself.
"The bit about not telling Harry more than he needs to know." said Molly seriously.
Hermione, Fred, George, Ron and Harry's heads turned from Molly to Sirius as though watching a tennis match.
Ginny was kneeling among a pile of abandoned Butterbeer corks, watching the argument with her mouth slightly open.
Evalina's eyes were closing.
"I don't intend to tell him more than he needs to know Molly, but as he was the one who saw Voldemort come back-"
There was a collective shudder around the group and a flinch from Evalina at the name.
"-he has more right than most to-"
"He's not a member of the Order! He's only fifteen and-" said Molly angrily.
"-and he's dealt with as much as some in the Order, maybe more-" said Sirius, his patience running out too.
"-no ones denying what he's done," said Molly, her fists trembling at the arms of her chair, "but he's still-"
"-He's not a child!" exclaimed Sirius incredulously.
"He's not an adult either! He's not James, Sirius!"
Sirius suddenly went very subdued.
"I'm perfectly aware of who he is, thank you Molly." said Sirius coldly.
"Well, I'm not sure you do!" said Molly obliviously, "Sometimes the way you talk about him you think you'd got your best friend back!"
"What's wrong with that?" said Harry, speaking up at last.
"What's wrong, Harry, is that you are not your father, however much you might look like him." said Molly, her eyes still glaring into Sirius.
"You are still at school and adults responsible for you should not forget it!"
"Meaning I'm an irresponsible godfather?" said Sirius, his voice rising again.
