"We're finally here!" Hanji excitedly exclaimed, stretching their arms lightly as they turned to face me and asked, "Did you have a good sleep on the plane a while ago?"

I could only nod as we exited the airport with our luggage in tow, rubbing my eyes sleepily as I answered, "Yeah, sorry about that, I was so excited for this trip that I couldn't sleep well last night, and ended up sleeping on our way here instead."

Hanji placed their arm around my shoulder and held me closer to them, "I'm glad that you were looking forward to this, and I am too, I'm sure we'll enjoy this trip."

Before I could answer, Hanji spotted the bus that would take us to the hotel, and they immediately led me to the bus, with the staff taking our luggage to place them securely in the compartment.

"Would you like to sit by the window?" Hanji asked as we stepped inside, and I nodded with excitement, my sleepiness having worn off as it dawned on me that we were in Jeju Island, as I said, "I'd like that very much! I want to see the view on the way to the hotel. But will you be okay with that? I want you to enjoy this trip too."

Hanji smiled at me as they gave me a soft pat on the head, "I can see it from beside you, so don't worry about it. And if you ever feel sleepy again, you can always lay your head on my shoulder, okay?"

"I'll do that, thank you," I told them with a cheeky smile and was rewarded a grin, and with that, the bus took off from the airport.

The trip from the airport to the hotel didn't take that long, and around thirty minutes later, we arrived at our destination. Hanji and I grabbed our luggage, and this time, even though Hanji offered to carry it for me, I politely declined since I didn't want to trouble them with such a simple task.

I could tell just from the entrance that it was a high-class hotel, with almost the entire front made up of glass, with warm yet grandiose lights, and intricately carved large pillars that supported the building. I'm sure that my jaw was hanging just at the sight of it, and I heard Hanji say from beside me, "Do you like it?"

"I do...but won't this cost a fortune?" I asked worriedly as I met their gaze, and Hanji merely chuckled as they said in response, "Darling, this is the first vacation I've taken since I joined the force, and we're on our honeymoon too, so I think it's alright to spend a little on this trip."

'A little? Doesn't look that way to me,' I thought as I glanced back at the hotel, sighing as I answered, "Alright then, but please don't spend too much, okay? I would've been happy even if we were camping under the stars."

Hanji had an amused expression on their face, smirking teasingly as they asked, "You would like something that, [Y/N]?"

For some reason, I felt my face heat up at this, and I shot back defensively, "What I meant to say was that...it doesn't cost much to make me happy, so don't get any ideas!"

Hanji laughed at this, and they took my hand in theirs as they led me to the check-in area, all the while my face was as red as a tomato, courtesy of my spouse.

"Wait for me here, I'll just talk with the receptionist to confirm our booking and get the room key," Hanji told me as they hesitantly let go of my hand, and I said in response, "It's alright, I'll just take a look around their lobby."

At this, Hanji nodded as they began to talk with the receptionist and I explored the massive hotel lobby, looking at the paintings displayed by the walls.

"Oh, my! Hanji, is that you?" a loud voice rang through the area moments later, and I turned around to see who the source was, curious as to how they knew Hanji.
