Mabel and Dipper had grabbed their friends and ran to bunker when they saw what was coming. They saw the warning sings and they quickly ran. It was a good thing too they thought as they emerged from the tree. Ash covered the ground and smoke rose from various places.
“What happened,” Wendy muttered.
Dipper frowned. “I'm not sure, but I'm pretty certain somehow Bill was involved...” he said.
Mabel sighed and looked around. She grabbed Dipper's hand quickly. “I'm scared,” she muttered.
Dipper looked at Mabel and smiled a small comforting smile. “Let's go see if there's any other people round,” he said.
Mabel looked back and caught sight of Wendy, Soos, Pacifica, Candy, Grenda, Waddles, and a few other people. She turned back to face Dipper again. “Alright,” she said. She let Dipper lead her towards Gravity Falls, the others following their path.
When they entered, Gravity Falls looked deserted. “Where is everybody?” Pacifica asked.
Dipper peeked into the closest house. “I-I'm not sure...” he muttered.
Grenda and Candy looked at each other worried. “So it's possible we're the only people here?” Candy asked.
“That can't be good,” Grenda said.
Mabel shook slightly. “What about Stan? He told us to leave without him! We have to find him!” She said. She let go of Dipper's hand and ran towards the Mystery Shack.
“MABEL!” Dipper cried out and chased after her. The others followed.
When they arrived the Mystery Shack there was barely anything there. Dipper wrapped his arms around Mabel as she cried into his shoulder. Wendy held up a hand telling the others to give the twins space.
Dipper looked at the ruins of the Mystery Shack. “Don't worry Mabel. I'll find out what happened and I'll make it alright...” he said softly.
Mabel nodded he head slowly. “Okay...” she whispered.
Dipper hugged her tighter. There was no patting.
