Mabel laid on her bed. She was facing Dipper's empty bed. The sun was setting on a depressing day. Tomorrow Mabel would be going home, though the summer wasn't even close to being over. She was going home due to the accident.

Her and Dipper had been exploring the woods. They came across an old building and decided to go exploring. It hadn't even been ten minutes before Dipper fell through the floor in front of Mabel. Mabel remembered crying out his name and pulling her grappling gun in a matter of seconds. She quickly shot out the grappling hook down the hole and tied the gun part around a pole. Mabel remembered sliding down the rope and jumping down still several feet in the air.

Mabel had ran to Dipper, who was limp on the floor with blood pooled around his head. “Dipper!” She cried out as she knelt next to him. She shook him slightly but when she got no response she pulled her legs up to her chest and sat there crying. Dipper was gone and there was nothing she could do.

And now she was here laying on her bed. Stan and a couple of the other adults had gone to get Dipper's body and she was home alone. She couldn't stand being in a building where everywhere she looked reminded her of her brother.

She looked out the window to see the moon slowly rising. There was a faint gust of wind and it chilled Mabel enough to make her shiver. She suddenly felt presence. She looked back and her eyes widened as she met the eyes of her brother. “Di-Dipper?!”

Dipper smiled small and waved slightly. He walked, well floated, over to Mabel. He reached for Mabel, but Mabel backed up.

“No! You're dead! I saw you die! You're a ghost aren't you! No, I'm not in the mood for supernatural right now! Just-just leave!” She said coldly. She turned to face the wall quickly and pulled her blanket completely over her. She could still sense Dipper hovering by her and she was convinced that at one point he “sat” on her bed. “You're dead,” she muttered one last time.
