Victoria

"Where were you Victoria?"

"I was j-just working."

"Stripping?"

Lorenzo didn't tell him?

I didn't want him to know that I was a prostitute. God, it even made me want to vomit. But I couldn't lie to him.

"No."

He finally looks up, his eyes meeting mine. His face was expressionless.

"I guess it makes sense for you to be hanging out with Camilla now."

I stayed quiet for a moment, "Alessandro I'm sorry-"

"You're sorry? Being around me was so difficult for you, that you had to leave and go fuck other guys."

"I didn't fuck any guy tonight."

"That's not the point, by you going down there, you already had the intention of doing that."

"It's not that simple."

"No, it is simple, you had a choice, and you chose that."

"Alessandro, look where I live, look at the family I come from, look at me. I've tried to live off the income of stripping, but it wasn't enough. I want to leave this place, I hate it. It just reminds me of so much horrible shit. How can you be judging me from the position you're in? You have money, you have a brother who cares about you, you could have pretty much anything you ever want. So no, it's not that simple."

He stays quiet for a moment, "Lorenzo said you could be a prostitute, didn't he?"

I don't say anything.

A humorless laugh escapes him, "Victoria you could have come to me. I could have given you a job, a house, anything you ever want. You really believe you have nothing?" He gets up from the small couch, taking a step closer to me.

I don't say anything, my eyes falling down to the floor.

His finger tips up my chin, making me look into his eyes.

"You have me. You've always had me, from the moment we met," His voice above a whisper. "Yet clearly I'm not enough." His hand falls back down to his side. "I think its best that I leave."

"Alessandro you don't have to do that."

"It's not right for me to be here, it's just an extra burden for you."

"Alessandro."

He wasn't looking at me anymore. He couldn't even look me in my eyes.

"Alessandro please." I put my arms on his shoulders, pushing his face closer to mine. Forcing his eyes on mine.

"Alessandro what huh?"

"You can't leave, what if the same people find you and kill you."

"I'm hard to kill, and I hope they find me. I haven't shot a gun in a while."

"I don't want you to get hurt."

He pushes himself off me, his breathing became rougher, louder.

"Fuck's sake!" He shouts, his fist colliding with the wall.

He pulls his hand out the new hole on the wall, blood dripping.

I take a step forward towards him, "Sit, your still hurt and injured."

He scoffs, "The car accident was nothing, the pain from that is already gone."
