Victoria
"Victoria! Come in, sorry about the mess!" Camilla let me in and gave me a hug. She was wearing a red robe, and her hair hung limp in a bun.
"I'm sorry about calling so abruptly. I didn't ruin any of your plans?"
"No, of course not. I haven't gone shopping in a while anyway. It's been a few days but make yourself at home. Want any coffee?" She asked.
"No, thank you."
"Great, well come upstairs. I just have to finish straightening my hair, then we can go."
Her house was beautiful. Potted plants spread around everywhere, and it was filled with sunlight.
We entered her bedroom, and she went and sat on the suede chair facing a makeup table, the mirror lit up with lights around it.
I sat on the edge of her bed, only a small distance away from her.
Camilla pulled the hairband out of her bun, letting her hair fall down. Picking up her straighteners, she started to straighten her hair, "So what happened? You look like you have cried, and Lorenzo dropped you off. Would you like me to kill him?"
Giggling, I shake my head. "No, Lorenzo did nothing bad, don't worry."
"I'm not kidding when I said I could kill him. I know people." She shrugged her shoulders and carried on like normal.
"I was crying because Lorenzo invited me to go to Italy with him. Since he was going for a mission there, and it ended up being at the same time that it's my birthday."
"Why did you not tell me it was your birthday! I checked your file you filled in when you first started at the prostitution, but it said it was in January or something."
"Oh that, yeah. I put a fake birthday."
She sighed, "At least we are gonna go birthday shopping, because Italy is so beautiful."
"You've been?"
"Yeah. My boyfriend took me last year." She sighed, "It was so crazy."
I felt a smile pull at my lips at the thought of what this story was going to be. "What happened?"
Placing the straighteners down, she turned around facing me. Her eyes lit up in excitement, "Glad you asked."
Camilla's Flashback from Italy
"Oh my God, that food and all that wine was so amazing," I sigh leaning back on the sunbed. The hot summer air surrounding us.
"Anything for you baby," Luc replied.
"Can you get me some orange juice please?"
He called one of the waiters that were taking orders around the beach, "Un succo di arancia per favore."
[Translation: Some orange juice please.]
The waiter nodded and rushed back towards the restaurant, returning with a cup of juice that had a piece of orange at the rim of the cup a minute later.
"Grazie," I reply, frowning at my boyfriend's sudden laughter.
"Your accent babe, it's so shit," he said, giving me a smile.
"I hate you Luc."
"You love me baby," He winked.
I rolled my eyes. He loved making fun of me, it was one of his many hobbies. But then again, I loved to annoy him.
