V was walking along the roads of Heywood heading to the bus depot that's been out of commission for quite some time...to investigate and kill a Jose luis...who has been convicted of killing an officer but was let go...of course the first thing she did was scout the area for any openings or exploited areas she could sneak in through...so far nothing...but to see some Valentinos...well the ones who think Mama welles isn't a strong leader has their own faction...she then sneaks in through the back area...one guard is there but was knocked out immediately...she then goes through...the door trying to picklock it then she enters
V: 'what the fuck?!' she then is greeted with...Shield convoy and supplies...why they were there she doesn't know...she knocks out the other guard...and she sees more of the shield equipment...somethings not good here...something not right
she then sees more of the material...then she heads up the final staircases
"look i know what the hell i am doing...you fucking people hired us to take care of a job then we'll fucking do it..don't go bitching to me what's right or whats wrong you get what you get!"
she hears Jose arguing with someone
"our deal was simple...to dispatch all other contacts within the area to make it seem like an act of aggression...but you still managed to fuck it up...the deal is over...you can forget about being paid" and it shuts off
Jose: "FUCKING MAKERS!!!" slamming the computer
V: 'makers?...what is this makers?' she ignores it to see Jose just mumbling to himself...so she went in...for the kill
Jose: "what?" before a knife was lodged into his cranium...killing him instantly...but not without his body to frantically twitch she twisted again and it stops
V: "fucker" she then looks into the computers...and looks at some of the files...and oh boy was she not expecting to see....a list of kids, adults, individuals that are marked for abduction...some of them she even knows herself...her and Jackie are part of that list...but one more file attached to theirs is also more compelling....she read in both of their files that Johnny Silverhand or Izuku is to remain unharmed or not killed by them...by any means necessary...why....she doesn't know...they seem to not want to hurt him...
V: 'shit' she puts the file in a USB drive before everything suddenly deletes itself...good thing she has some evidence for this...she should show Izuku hearing some noises she goes through the door leading towards the rooftops jumping up then climbing the other roof...then she heads to the fences on to the side going up to the skyscrapers...hopefully they didn't see her...but obviously they saw his body..as they are now on full alert...soon she makes it out of there unharmed and she calls Padre
Padre: "So...what have you found about our little incident"
V: "apparently our guy was caught up in some dealing with the Valentinos and a group called...the makers?...using Shield equipment to try and abduct kids, or other individuals to add or do something to them"
Padre: "so your telling me Valentinos...low life ones. are hired by a third party and is also provided high quality gear from Shield corporations?...and it went down because of one unfortunate cop"
V: "well they said they wanted to assault the Shield corp down at I-Island to make it seem like an attack to cover up their actions"
Padre: "attacking their own facility...on their behalf...and the makers...Shit you need to get out of there!"
V: "i can still find some more...i have copied some of the files here"
Padre: "then you need to get rid of it...there's nothing more you can do"
V: "sounds like you know something"
Padre: "well it's only a little here and there"
V: "out with it"
Padre: "apparently you managed to get yourself caught up in some group the legendary Firedrake tried to take out years ago...of course the makers once had a hideout here in nightcity...until all of the factions united as one group to take them out"
V: "wow...uniting everyone?...including Maelstrom"
Padre: "surely you seen Firedrake yourself"
V: "yeah...i met him once...but i never really thought about it...i only ever saw him as the only kind man whose actions that won't change a damn thing"
Padre: "well you are right in some way...but his impact and influence in Nightcity is all but great..he was very well respected"
V: "alright then...so what's this maker stuff?"
Padre: "not my boardgame...and not yours either....there is no reason to be involved with this...leave it at that"
V: "alright then"
Padre: "as per usual you will get your payment...good work V" and he hangs up
V then sees she recieved her money: "what the fuck is this group?" soon she hears some sirens and more vehicles approaching
V: "shit" she needs to delta the fuck out of there pronto...running to the bike she speeds away...and heads back towards Watson
