Chapter 17:

Hayley’s POV:

“Come on T.” I pulled him out of the door. “I want to go now!”

He chuckled. “Alright,” he smiled. “How does it feel to be on time for once?”

I gave him a look.

He only smirked. “I’m kidding.” He kissed the side of my head.

“Better be punk.” He chuckled.

“Well I am.” He pulled me by my waist. My body pinned against the door of our hotel suite. His lips found themselves connected to mine.

I smiled into the kiss. My hands resting on either side of his face.

He pulled away.

I frowned.

“How could you tease me like that?” I bit my lip and pressed my hips towards his body.

He smiled. Pressing his lips to my pulse line.

“We have a niece to meet.”

My eyes filled with joy.

“Yay!” I pulled away and dragged him along to the elevator doors. “Come on Baby Davis awaits her cool Aunt and Uncle.”

Taylor chuckled under his breath. “I don’t know about you,” he draped an arm around my shoulder, “but I am most definitely not very cool.”

“What?” I protested as the elevator doors slide open. “You’re the coolest.”

He kissed the side of my head. “That’s because I have the coolest wife in the world.”

I giggled. Snuggling into his side more. “You can say that again.”

**

We took a cab ride from the hotel to the hospital we found out Kat and Jeremy were at.

Luckily, they didn’t suspect anything.

When we arrived at the nursery station of the hospital, we found out that we were too early. Meaning visiting hours began about an hour later.

Lucky for us, we got to play the famous card.

One of the nurses in charge had been a fan since college and happily granted us visitors pass.

But according to her, she never spoke to us.

Which we understood. We would never want any of our fans to lose a job because they helped us out.

Nurse Amy, our fan, happily walked us to the private room Jeremy had reserved for Kat’s delivery.

*Knock, Knock*

Nurse Amy walked into the room.

“Good morning new parents.”

“Good morning.” Jeremy happily cheered.

Taylor and I stood behind while we awaited the “okay” from Amy.

I impatiently tapped my fingers against the wall behind my head.

Taylor only smiled and took my hand into his.

“Relax babe.” He kissed the back of it. “We’re going to see them.”

I forced a smile.

Sure I was happy to see my friends, but that wasn’t it. Something was wrong.
