Chapter 8: Naughty CJ

"Oh, my gosh! I know, right? Umbridge was waaaaay worst than Voldemort. I hate her." I said.

"Honey, don't we all?" He said with a wink.

*thump thump thump*

Err, okay that wink got me a bit flustered.

"You okay?" He asked with concern.

"Uh, yeah. I'm good." I said with a smile.

"Oop. This is where we part. That's my house." He said while pointing at the house on the right of...my house.

"That's your house? Really?" I asked, surprise evident in my voice.

"Doesn't seem like it?"

"No, it's just...I live in that house..." I said while pointing to my house.

"So...we're neighbors? How come I never see you?" He asked, confused.

"Same question."

"Eh. Doesn't matter. At least we know now." He said with a smile.

"Yeah...I guess so." I replied with a smile also.

"Let's go to school together tomorrow, okay? I'll be at the front of your doorstep at exactly 6:15." He said.

"Sure. See ya!"

I stepped in my house with a smile. A genuine smile. One I haven't had with people other than mum.

"You're smiling!" I jumped in surprise because mum suddenly shouted.

"Um..."

"Were you with the girls? No wait, there's no noise." Mum thought.

I went to the kitchen to get a water with mum behind me.

I was drinking my water when suddenly, "IT MUST BE A BOY!" I almost did a spit take.

"MUM!"

"IT'S A BOY, ISN'T IT!?"

"Well it is, but--"

"Who is he? How old is he? Where does he live? When--"

"Whoa! Calm down, mum. Easy with the questions...and to answer your questions, he's Romeo Cael Styles. I don't know how old he is but he must be around my age, and he lives next door. And before you ask, no. He isn't my boyfriend. He is, however my friend. So if you'll excuse me, I'll be upstairs, in my room, pretending I don't exist."

"I try to picture me without you but I  can't. 'Cause we could be immortals, immortals, just not for long, for long~" My stereo blasted out and filled my room while I danced my heart out. I mean, how can't I? That's Fall Out Boy for Pete's sake (A/N: Who the hell is Pete?)!

"Yo! Yo! CJ!" I heard a faint voice over my loud music.

I peeked through the window of my bedroom. Only to find out it was Cael.

"Yo! Cael! What's up!" I shouted over to him.

"The sky, CJ. THE SKY." Okay he got me there.

I rolled my eyes.

"What did you need?"

"Can you tune down your music a bit? As much as I love 'Fall Out Boy', I need to practise my lines. So, can you?"

I smiled.

"You missed a whole hour of practise earlier. Of course, I will."

"Good. Now, lower the volume or I'll steal your v-card."

Um, wut.

My eyes became wide at what I heard. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?"

"Lower the volume or I'll steal your card. What did you hear?"

"Lower the volume or I'll steal your v-card..." He smirked.

"I didn't know you were a naughty girl, CJ. But if you don't mind, I'd like to keep my v-card with me until I get married." He winked.

Oh, gosh...
