Chapter 1: CJ & Cael

I sat anxiously in the backseat of the car as we near my new school.

Gosh! My heart's beating faster than normal again! Okay, I'm gonna practise how I'm gonna introduce myself for the last time.

Good day, everyone! I'm Cassandra Thirlwall, 18 years of age. I'd like to be friends with all of you and I hope you want to be friends with me too.

Right. I am seriously gonna slap myself if I mess it up.

Before I knew it, we are already at the front of my new school.

"This is it, hun."

"Goodbye, mum," I left a small peck on her cheek.

"Make some friends."

I went out of the car and watch mum drive off. When the car was completely out of sight, I started walking inside the campus.

Time Check: 6:43 AM

I got just about enough time to get my schedule.

"Name, please."

"Thirlwall, Cassandra."

I waited for a few seconds before she found my schedule.

"Here you go, Miss Thirlwall."

"Thank you, ma'am."

I left the room and started reading my schedule.

So Music is my first class,then Sci-

"Oof!" That was me.

The person I bumped into moaned.

The person I bumped into fell on his back, while I fell on top of him.

"I'm so sorry! Oh my gosh! I'm such a clumsy oaf! I---"

"Uh...yeah...I think it would be better if you get up first before apologizing..."

I was in a trance for a second, because my, oh my, who wouldn't be while looking at this boy's emerald green orbs!

My mind just processed what he had said and my cheeks heated up from embarrassment and I quickly got up and picked up my things.

I helped him stand up.

"Look, I'm so,so so sorry for what happened, I-"

"It's fine," he said with a genuine smile.

He's good-looking if you ask me. He has these curly hair swept away and not everyone can pull a hairstyle like that. He feels like a dream, to be honest.

"You must be new here. I haven't seen you around and I pretty much know almost everybody here."

"Uh, yeah, I am new here. I'm Cassandra Jean Thirlwall, but you can call me Cass."

"Can I call you CJ instead?"

Um, okay, that's new.

"...Yeah...Sure..."

"I'm Romeo Cael Styles. It's a pleasure to meet you CJ," he introduced, finishing it off with a cheeky smirk.

"I'll just call you Cael," I smirk back.

He doesn't seem to mind being called Cael.

*sighs* what a fail.

"Hey, do you want me to walk you to your class?"

"That would be very nice."

"What's your first class?"

"Music class. Room 319."

"That's mine too!"

"Let's go then."
