"It's too late! Go! Go!"
"Not without you!" Kara screams as Alex pushes her into the machine. Chaos is all around them, fire and ashes plaguing the environment as heroes and civilians alike fell. There was dead bodies everywhere. In the distance, Kara can see a red cape fluttering on the ground, it's owner having just succumbed to death. Kal-El fought bravely, giving Alex, Kara and Barry time to get to the machine.
"Kara please," Alex whispers, tears streaming down her grimy face, "It's gonna be okay." Kara just shakes her head, her body trembling with sobs,
"No! It doesn't have to be you! I can stay here and you leave with Barry! Please Alex!"
Alex smiles sadly, "You know that's not true. Please do this for me," She pauses and runs her hand through Kara's bloodied hair, "You, Kara Danvers, have to live. For me, for us." Alex pushes Kara into the machine where Barry is already waiting. The speedster grabs Kara and embraces her tightly, soothing her as she shakes with sobs.
"Take care of her, Barry."
Barry just nods. Alex opens her mouth to say something but gets cut off as the ground shakes violently. She turns around and pales as she sees the destruction that's headed their wait. Frantically, she pulls out two necklaces from her pocket and hands them to the two heroes inside the machine.
"Don't forget us."
And with that, Alex Danvers slams the machine door shut and inputs coordinates of some sort. As soon as she does she waves Barry and Kara goodbye with a sad smile and then turns around, hand going to the gun on her hip.
Before the destruction can get to them, the machine whirs to life and in a blinding flash of white light, Barry Allen and Kara Danvers are no more.

"Well this is certainly interesting."
Are the first words that Kara hears. She startles awake but can't actually get up because her body feels like it's been through hell and back. She looks around and spots Barry also waking up, which makes her sigh in relief. Kara turns her head towards the source of the voice and is met with a... robot?
"Wha?"
The robot snorts in what Kara could probably think is amusement. "Well, you did have a pretty nasty fall right there. Kinda broke the whole floor. I don't know if I should charge you for the repairs or try to make you get out of here as soon as possible. How did you even get in here, by the way?"
"Uh." Is all Kara says, staring gobsmacked at the robot.
"Where even is here, by the way?" Barry pipes up instead, knowing Kara needs a few moments to process everything due to the nasty fall they had and the events they just experienced.
"Area 51. My property, technically, since I own it."
"I thought the government owned it," Kara blurts out, her mind finally allowing her to say words. The robot seems to laugh a little and the next thing it does shocks both Kara and Barry.
The robot seems to open up and a man pops out, dark hair with a well trimmed beard, purple glasses and undereye bags the size of the moon.
"Now, tell me how you two broke into Area 51, where there is dangerous alien technology being kept in, before I call about every government agency to deal with you."
"Would you believe me if I said she was an alien?" Barry says, jutting his thumb out at Kara who stares at him with wide eyes. "Barry!"
The man seems to sigh and his shoulders sag a little. "Honestly, I hate that I would. Aliens aren't a new thing to me, especially not aliens that look like humans. Thor is a fine example of that."
"Thor? As in, the Norse God of thunder, Thor?"
"Yes? He's an Avenger, how do you not know him?" Robot man asks as he raises a brow at the two people sitting on the floor.
"Quick question, is there a Central City around here?" Barry asks instead, dreading the answer. Robot man furrows his brows and shakes his head.
"Oh no," Barry says, "This is bad. This is very bad."
"Barry? What's wrong?" Kara asks her friend, worry lacing her tone.
"What about Metropolis? Gotham? Star City?"
"Wha-? Are you high? On drugs? Or did the fall do some nasty damage up in there?"
Barry groans and just flops back to the ground, his arm covering his eyes as he contemplates what just happened to him and Kara. "I think Alex might've sent us somewhere we weren't ever supposed to know about."
"What do you mean, Barry? We researched for months to make sure we would get sent to an Earth that was the most similar to the one we were in!" Kara exclaims, standing up and staring down at Barry.
"Kara," Barry sighs tiredly, the events of the past few days finally catching up to him as exhaustion plagues his whole body. "Do you really think they would just stop at one Earth? Knowing there were others of us in different ones? Because I don't think they would've. So now we're stuck in an Earth where everything is totally different."
"Uhm, I've got some pull at a nut house if you two want in because seriously, what the actual fuck?"
That seems to startle Barry and Kara out of the staring contest they were locked in. Barry quickly gets up and pats at his suit, seemingly trying to get rid of all the dirt and grime it had accumulated over the past few days. He extends a hand at robot man and says,
"My name is Barry Allen, and this is Kara Danvers, also know as Kara Zor-El. We need your help."
