"So you mean to tell me that this big bad basically ate all your worlds and now you're stuck here?" Tony sighs as he looks at the two newcomers with tired eyes.
"Yeah, basically," Barry, who apparently has super speed!, says. "We were planning on getting thrown into another Earth similar to us, to hopefully save it but well..." Barry trails off with a shrug.
"I'm too old for this shit," Tony mumbles as he rubs his eyes, then looks at Kara, who is apparently super duper strong or whatever. "Is there any chance that threat who literally ate your world can cross over to this universe and eat us?"
Barry shrugs again and Kara mimics him. "We wanted to prevent it with Earth's similar to ours but this one is so drastically different that it might not even think to cross over here. Though that doesn't mean there isn't a big bad coming here."
"Right, so a world eating monster is out of the question, thank fuck." Tony sags in his chair before standing up. "FRIDAY, show our lovely guests to some rooms. They are in desperate need of a shower." Tony wrinkles his nose slightly at the sight of both of them, dirt and blood caking their faces, hair and clothes. "Some of my clothes might fit speedy over here and I'm sure some of Pepper's will fit the girl of steel or whatever. I have to do some damage control because apparently even if you own Area 51 the government is still nosy about it."
"On it, Boss."
"Who's that?" Barry asks as he and Kara stand up, both of them are eager to shower but still hesitant to trust Tony.
"That's FRIDAY, my AI. She basically runs this place so if you ever need something and I'm not available, just ask her, right baby girl?" Tony asks, his tone going fond.
"Yes, Boss," FRIDAY chirps, "Now Mr. Allen and Ms. Danvers, if you would follow where the lights are going you will find two guest rooms prepared and clothes and toiletries should be on the beds. Please ask if you need anything else."
"Woah, you have an AI?" Barry asks in wonder. "That's so cool! Is she self learning? Is she obligated to follow all your commands or can she make decisions for herself?"
"FRIDAY is her own person, she can do whatever she pleases, and form her own opinions. I trust that she doesn't go all Skynet on me, because if she does I'm not sure I could stop her." Tony shrugs. He had removed FRIDAY's limitations as soon as the whole "Civil War" thing passed. Why should he care what his old teammates thought about him and why should their thoughts influence his actions? After the whole ULTRON mess and JARVIS' passing, Tony had to whip up FRIDAY. He had limited her because his teammates were wary of a new AI, not trusting Tony to not make another murder robot. It hurt him to not give her the full capacities JARVIS had but he was so desperate to please his old team. Now that there was no team he gave her free reign. He trusted his baby girl would take care of him like her big brother JARVIS had.
"Cool! So FRIDAY, do you have a favorite color? A favorite number? How about a favorite school subject?" Barry babbled on as he and Kara followed the trail of lights FRIDAY had told them about.

"Barry, I need to talk to you," Kara says as she walks into the room Barry was in. The speedster was still having a conversation with FRIDAY, having finished his shower quickly so he could continue talking to the AI.
"Is something wrong?" Barry asks, sitting up on the bed and looking at Kara with worry. "Do you feel okay?"
Kara sighs and sits down on the bed next to Barry, shoulders sagged. The bed was super comfortable and it was taking all the willpower Kara had in her to not give in and sleep for three days. "I need to know that I'm not crazy."
"You're not crazy," Barry instantly responds, then pauses, "Did something happen?"
Wrinkling her nose in thought, Kara answers, "Kinda? I don't—I don't know how to interpret this but," She pauses then heaves out a heavy sigh, "When we, uhm, when we came here. Right after Alex," Her voice cracks at the mention of her sister, "right after she pressed the button and the white light engulfed us, there were these, voices and flashes of colors."
"Was it like six voices?" Barry asks quietly. "And were the colors green, yellow, orange, purple, blue and red?"
"Yeah," Kara breathes out, "You heard and saw them too?" She sounded so relieved, thankful that she wasn't crazy, or wasn't the only one that was crazy.
"Mhm," Barry answers, "They called themselves the, uhm, infinity stones? Said something about helping us in return of something, I didn't quite catch what they said, I was too busy trying not to throw up."
"We'll save your lives if you save our universe," Kara quoted, a shiver running up her spine as she remembered the voices. It seemed like they were speaking in unison, seemingly as old as time and as young as a newborn baby. Timeless.
Barry and Kara stayed silent after that, seemingly staring at nothing. They were like that for quite some time, only snapping out of it when FRIDAY called for them.
"Boss is requesting your presence in the common room, please follow the lights to the elevator."
"Right," Barry mumbled, standing up and offering Kara a hand. They both follow the lights, hand in hand as they try to ground themselves. This was their life now, they didn't have anything left anymore. There was no looking back, no going back in time, no running abnormally fast and jumping Earths. There was only looking forward and saving the universe they were dumped in. And that started with Tony Stark.
