halfway through our journey, chat told me to close my eyes, he wanted the location to be a surprise. i've always loved surprises so i had no problem doing this.
and finally, we came to a halt. "keep your eyes shut for a moment y/n, i'm just gonna detransform.. plagg, claws in!"
suddenly i felt adrien's hand grab mine and lead me up a short staircase. "you can open your eyes princess.
it was the rooftop. the rooftop that chat brought me to, as y/n , when i was heartbroken over adrien, and he was heartbroken over ladybug. it was lit up with candles and covered in rose petals, just like last time. i was speechless.
"wow.. it's- it's beautiful adrien.. thank you so much." adrien took a sigh of relief which soon turned into a smile.
"care to dance?" he offered.
i giggled. "with no music?"
"oh don't worry, i've got that one covered already!" he quickly took his phone out of his pocket and began to play our song, the one that we danced to at chloe's party, and in front of the moonlight in new york.
before i could say anything, adrien grabbed my waist and began to dance, as i followed along with his movements.
i wasn't a good dancer and neither was he, but somehow we always managed to dance perfectly together.
it was magical. the sun was setting and the moon was appearing clearly along with the stars surrounding it like glitter. this was the perfect moment.
when the song came to an end, adrien pulled his head back from my shoulder as i pulled my head back from his chest and we looked into each other's eyes.
