summery: y/n and dream met when they were kids, but y/n's father doesn't like him. after years they reunite.

as i stared at the male ahead of me, i began to think about the last time i ever saw him.

we were both young, when i first saw you
i close my eyes and the flashback starts.

(flashback)
my hands loosely held onto the bar behind me, no expression on my face as my eyes were trained ahead of me into the chaos inside.

i'm standing there

my h/c hair flew gracefully in the clear, summer air.

on a balcony in summer air.

the lights, the music, the party. why did i have to come to this stupid party?

see the lights. see the party, the ball gowns.

my dress danced slightly in the air, this is stupid. i hated this stupid house, with my stupid parents. soon enough, my eyes trained on him, and his eyes trained on me.

his beautiful emerald eyes locked on mine.

i saw him slowly making his way through the crowd, eyes still on me as he excused himself to the people inside. before i knew it, he was standing inches away from me,

"hello"

see you make your way though the crowd and say hello.

little did i know,

the next time i saw him was with my father, we were on a walk and then i spotted him, and he stopped me. he was throwing pebbles into a pond before waving at me excited.

my dad didn't like this though, i didn't know it but, that boy was the dream, the one my father hated and anyone who hung out with him.

the boy got up excited when he saw me and started heading towards me, with a smile on his face. as i was about to run up to him, my father stuck an arm in front of me.

"stay away from y/n, you little monster,"

and my daddy said, stay away from juliet.

we both stopped in our tracks, before looking at each other with a sad expression. he stuck his hand out to me, my fathers stare still trained onto me, but i didn't care after i grabbed it and ran to the forest with him.

suddenly he stopped,

"y/n, you should go. i don't want you to get in trouble.." my eyes stared into his as tears started to develop in my eyes.

they spilled as i felt his hand let go of mine and start to walk away, his presence leaving mine as he stepped out of my view.

"no! please! please don't go, please! you're the only one i want to talk to... please!"

and i was crying on the staircase, begging you please don't go!

(flash back ends)

we both stared at each other in awe. this was the first time i had seen him again in years. his dirty blonde hair, his freckles dotted his face perfectly and his pretty emerald eyes were stunning. he was gorgeous; he's perfect.

his hands held on to mine gently, almost making sure that i were real. the sky was clear and the sunset made the moment way better.

"y/n" the voice i had missed so much, the voice that made me so calm, the voice that i would talk to for hours on end. i never got bored of his presence.

"mystery boy," i replied. he laughed at this,

"call me dream," dream. he really is like a dream.

"dream," i repeated softly, gripping his hands slightly tighter. after all these years, i could finally say what i've been wanting to say to him.

and i said

"dream take me somewhere we can be alone. i'll be waiting,"

he hugged me, my face in his chest and his chin on my head as he continued.

"i've missed you y/n: i've missed the girl who made me so happy, ive missed our hour long talks, ive missed you're presence next to mine, ive missed you so much. i won't ever leave you again,"
