the brave princess {botw link x reader}

{Part 6}

You stare confused at the man. Link doesn't seem to know what's going on either. The man sees your faces and starts telling you about what had happened 10,000 years ago and 100 years ago. (I'm to lazy to type the entire dialogue) 
When he is done talking, he turns to you. 

"My child, I have missed you over all these years. You haven't aged a day since I send you away." You stare at him, wanting him to tell you more. The voice you had heard has told you about it a few times. During your journey, you learned that you are one of the princesses. Your sister is named Zelda. She is the voice that told you everything. Your father, the king has send you away before the war had started. 

When you asked Zelda why, but she just said: "When the time comes, he will tell you..." This only got you to have more questions. "Why did you send me away father, I could have helped."

"Those exact words are what you said when I did so. My child, dear y/n, it was all for your own good. You could have been hurt, or even killed." You look at him and what he had just said. You may not be the best fighter but you are not weak either. "I wouldn't, I'm not weak. You may think I am but I can fight." You draw your sword. You have gotten mad a him. How dare he underestimate you. 

Link who had been staring without an expression now seems kind of surprised. He holds out his arm in front of you, telling you to put your sword away. You do so and he backs of again. The king starts talking again. "I'm sorry y/n, I should have listened to you. I knew you could fight well, and you still can. Can you forgive me?" You simply nodd. 

He smiles and hands over the paraglyder. He tells you to go to the glowing point on the map. An elder named Impa, will tell us what to do next.
He then dissapears and you are less pissed now you don't need to see him anymore. Link looks over at you with a little worry in his eyes. You ignore him and open the chest that is left here too. Two bows are inside and you take one of them. You hand over the other one to Link who takes it and puts it on his back.

After that, you turn to the open wall. You have the paraglyder in your hands and for a second, you forget Link doesn't have a paraglyder. You almost jump but Link speaks up:"Wait!" You look over at his and see him standing there. Realisation hit you?

You hold onto the paraglyder a little more to the left so Link can take the right. "I have never done this before." You nodds in agreement and you both run a few steps towards the open and jump. You hold on tight to the paraglyder. 
Link and you slide down to an open area. It looks beautiful here. There are a lot of flowers and the sun shines bright. 

When you land, you fall on your knees because you weren't paying attention. Link drops the paraglyder next to you and gives you his hand. You take it and he quickly pulls you up onto your feet. "Thanks." You say. He smiles a small smile. 

You look around and notice a mountain that looks like it's splitt into two diffrent parts. Link takes out the sheikah slate but notices there is no map of this place. "We need to find another tower." He says. You notice a tower in front of the mountain. 
"There, let's go." You say. 

Link and you run trough a small destroyed town. A few monsters walk around here. You decide to ignore them. While walking around, you are distracted because of the beautiful nature. You are so distracted that you don't notice a monster sneaking up on you. you cry out in fear when you see Link drawing his sword and charging towards you. You still haven't noticed the monster.

'Is he going to kill me.' 'Why would he do that.' 'Am I this irritating?'  At the moment you decide to draw you sword, Link throws it at your head. At least, that's what it looks like to you. You cloe your eyes, knowing you can't take your shield from your back ths quickly or dodge it in any way. 

When you don't feel any pain but hear a poof sound behind you. You look behind you and see purple and black smoke. Realisation hits you once again. Link saved you from the monster behind you. 
You turn around again and Link stares at you, still questioning why you just summoned Satan with that scream. You stare at him, very shy and say a quiet sorry. 

Link and you make your way towrds the tower, this time you pay more attention and you are able to defeat some monsters on the way. When you reach the tower, Link starts climbing up and you decide to stay down, being the lazy ass you are. You walk a little around at the small island the tower is on. You and link swam here. You are still a little wet and since it's getting late you should find shelter. 

That's when you notice a bunch of stones that are about to break. They seem to block the entrance to a small cave. You take out your iron sledgehammer, You had retrieved in a shrine. You charge at the stones and smash the hammer into the stones, making them break. 

There is a chest in the cave and when you open it, there is a spear, you take it and put the chest outside of the cave, making room for you and Link. After that, you start a fire and warm up a little. You hadn't given Link the paraglyder so he will need to climb down. 

After a while you hear a sound outside the cave and take your sword. You see Link standing at the entrance of the cave. You put your sword back down. "I thought this would be a nice place to rest." He smiles and notices the food you had made after making the fire. 

He smiles oven more brightly. You both eat and decide to rest. Today was nice, You have done a lot and  you are tired.

A/N: I'm sorry for not updating (again), Ive had exams at school but now I have vacation for two weeks so I should be updating. Thanks for your patience and I will see you n the next chapter.
