So for Music today we listened to some music and wrote a thing based of the music. And I wrote this:
'Larkpaw was dashing through the forest away from the badger that was behind her. She had to run, away from the badger, away from the camp, away from anything important. If she ran back to camp the badger would tear through everything, maybe even get Willowwind's kits. That thought made her run faster. Maybe even faster than her great ancestors. Larkpaw spotted a tree up ahead. In the second that it took her to get there she jumped and dashed up the tree. When she got to a branch the tree started wobbling. The badger was climbing the tree! She had to get down as quick as she could, it was that or her life. The badger was getting closer, and closer. Larkpaw swatted at it with her paw, connecting with something. The badger yelped and dropped out of the tree. Larkpaw breathed a sigh of relief, maybe the badger had left? But the badger came back as strong as ever, climbing up the tree to get her. Larkpaw jumped, but seemingly in the wrong direction. She landed on the badger's face, and leaped down it's back and into the forest. The badger lumbered after her, but she was as fast as ever. Taking swift leaps and turns she ended up at the cliff at the edge of the clan's territory. Just as the badger rounded the edge she jumped onto a nearby branch, just missing the badgers claws. The badger fell into the rushing river and was swept away. Larkpaw let out the breath that she didn't know she was holding. The badger was gone, she and her clan were safe.'
Given that I wrote it in 40ish minutes I like it. I might make it into a story in the future.
So I drew Larkpaw because I could.
