I have probably been on the roof for a couple of hours. Alone. Tess went back down to the party and I couldn't help but miss her being up here with me I mean we are friends, aren't we? Or is it still too early to tell?

I shake my head and stand up, I might as well look for her and see if we could spend some more time with each other and make this night worth coming here to this party. I walked across the roof and nearly slipped but I managed to stay on the roof. I chuckle to myself before hopping back into the room.
"WTF?!" I hear a girl scream and I get a fright and look over to the bed when I see a guy on top of a girl under the covers as they look at me.

"Ah, whoops sorry" I say and quickly run out of the room and close the door. I shake my head and laugh before looking back at the door. That's when I run straight into someone.
"Oh god sorry" I say and that's when I see a beautiful girl looking at me with a sweet smile on her face. She had beautiful green eyes and her cheeks were a tinted red, her hair was brown and long and she had perfect full inviting pink lips.

"No worries stranger" She says her voice just as perfect as her. I stare at her like a fish out of the water. She giggles and I shake my head to snap me out of my gaze.
"Uhm I'm Max" I say and her smile grows.
"You're the new girl, right?" She says and I nod my head.
"Cool I'm Rosie" She says and I smile.
"Ah, have you seen a girl named Tess?" I ask her.
"Tess Hunters?" She asks me.

"I think so I don't know her surname" I say.
"A really sweet pretty blonde girl?" She says and I nod my head.
"Yeah" I say
"Yep, that's Tessa Hunter, I think I saw her downstairs by the kitchen" She says.
"Thank you" I say and walk past her.
"And hey Max!" I hear her shut and stop and turn around to look at Rosie.

"Welcome to the neighbourhood" She says and I smile at her before turning back around and heading down the stairs. I head to the kitchen just to see Tess taking back more shots with a group of guys around her cheering her on. She looked so wasted she could barely stand up straight.
I head over towards her and she looks at me with a wasted smile on her face.
"Maxy, here drink this!" She struggles to say before stuffing a drink in my face. I take it from her and sniff it. It was super strong and strange alcohol. I put it down on the counter when I noticed that a guy had his arm wrapped around her waist and was getting very touchy with her.

"Hey Tess, how about I take you home?" I ask her and she looks at me with hooded eyes.
"S-sure" She says smiling.
"No stay darling don't you want to stay with us?" The guy says with his arm wrapped around her waist.
"S-sure!" She says and I clench my jaw.
"Tess let's go home" I say and reach out to her but the guy pulls her away.
"Can't you see she is perfectly fine where she is?" He says to me and I glare at him.

"Tess let's leave, now" I say pulling her away from the dude and into my arms. She just giggles.
"Hey what's your problem?!" The guy says and tries to grab Tess, but I shove him hard away from her.
"Don't touch her asshole" I say and he just looks at me.
"Tess, can you walk?" I whisper to her and she just wraps her arms around my neck. I sigh before bending down and picking her up bridal style. All the guys looked at me disappointed like I was taking their favourite toy away. I glare at all of them and walk out of the kitchen. Time to get out of this shit hole. I walk past all the people that all stare at me but I pay them no attention and walk out.

I walk outside and head down the road. I didn't have a car so this was the only way to get Tess home. Did she come alone? I ask myself as I walk down the sidewalk that was lit by the lamp posts. Tess had fallen asleep so the walk was quiet. It wasn't long until I turned on our road and headed towards Tess's house. I walk up the porch steps and stare at the door before looking down at Tess.
