Dean was busy decorating his room, he was going over the top because he had never had his own room before. When he was a kid, his Dad would drag him and Sammy all over the country. When he was only four, his mom had died in Sam's nursery and his dad became obsessed with finding her killer.
"Guns on the wall?" Sam asked standing in the doorway. It was kind of nice to see Dean not on edge for once. He was always occupied with a hunt or taking care of him.
"Hey I like it, it's very me," Dean responded. "Plus i've never had my own room," he added.
" I've never seen you so relaxed," Sam commented. He secretly hoped that Dean would spend every minute of his life worrying for him. Not because he disliked Dean's overprotective nature, but he needed Dean to live every once and awhile.
"Don't get used to it Sammy," Dean answered. Being the typical little brother was, he threw a piece of paper on the floor. "Seriously?" Dean asked.
"Make sure you keep it clean, jerk," he spoke.
"You're making it a lot harder bitch," Dean responded. "How about I make us something to eat,"
"Fine, sounds good to me," Sam responded as the two walked out of the room and made their way to the kitchen, though as they got closer just outside they heard hoofs hit the soft dirt and a neigh coming from outside the bunker. Confused and thinking that it was a monster, Sam and Dean had grabbed their guns from the table, and they made their way toward the front door. Dean had been in front of his brother as he reached for the door knob. The minute his hands grasped the knob he pulled it open at the same time the brothers pointed their guns at their uninvited guests.
"Whoa!" Exclaimed a young boy. "Guns?! Look we don't mean any harm man!" Sam and Dean looked over at the man with an eyebrow raised.
"Who are you?" Dean asked.
"How about we put the guns down and explain," the girl responded.
"Or you can tell us who you are," Sam said. "And why your here,"
"Can't we come in?" the boy asks.
"Of course, after you tell us who you are," Dean said. The young man sighed, knowing that he wasn't going to get through to Sam and Dean the easy way.
"My name is Percy Jackson and..." before Percy could finish Sam had to do a double take to make sure he wasn't seeing things.
"Wait... the Percy Jackson?" Sam questioned. "As in the guy who saved Olympus more than once?"
"You know this guy?" Dean asked his brother.
"Barely, i've read about him," Sam answered. "He's a demigod, the son of Poseidon,"
"Uh huh..." Dean said. "And who's the blonde princess?" In anger the girl stormed into the bunker, Dean's instincts kicked in as he quickly fought to defend himself but it didn't seem to work, the girl had been reading his every move and figuring out where his next defense would come from. She disarmed Dean immediately and pulled out her bronze dagger, she placed it under Dean's chin, her gray eyes filled with determination and annoyance.
"Don't ever call me a princess again," the girl said.
"The girl that just beat your ass is my girlfriend," Percy said. "Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena," Sam lowered his gun as he had witnessed his brother get beaten by a girl, it was the second time it had happened, the first time was when they had met Jo and Dean had been completely outmatched and outsmarted by a girl.
"Dean," Sam said, trying his best not to laugh. "You know this is the second time you've been beaten by a girl, right?"
"Shut up Sam," Dean said.
"Now that we've introduced ourselves, do you mind if we come in?" Percy asked.
"Well no use saying otherwise," Dean said. "Your girlfriend already burst through that door," he continued. "So why not," Percy stepped through the door while Annabeth let Dean go. Dean quickly got up and backed away from Annabeth, Sam couldn't keep his smile hidden as it was enjoyable to watch his brother get beaten up by a girl.
"Why are you here?" Sam asked instead.
"We need you two to come with us," responds Percy.
"Hold it, go where?" Sam questioned.
"To a camp for people like us," Annabeth answered.
"Uh huh and how exactly are we going to get there?" Dean said. "On horseback?"
"Glad you asked, you two should pack what you can," Says Percy. "Then meet us outside," Percy and Annabeth had walked out of the bunker before the brothers could ask questions. Dean closed the door as the two left and turned towards Sam.
"Okay what just happened?" Dean asked.
"I'm not sure I know, I keep thinking I just hallucinated the whole thing," Sam answered.
"Both of us?" Dean asked, raising his eyebrow. "I'm pretty sure that's very unlikely," he continued.
"Do you have a better explanation?" Sam responded being sassy and logical.
"Are you two going to argue all day? We don't have much time," Percy said who neither had seen come back in.
"How did...never mind I don't want to know," Dean responded. "Hold on we're coming," he continued. This was already making his brain hurt, but something told him that if he didn't go with these two something terrible would happen. Then again maybe he was just being paranoid, as the two followed Percy outside they heard the sound of hoof steps and the neigh of a horse.
"You hear that right?" Sam asked, making sure he wasn't going crazy.
"Yeah, did they come on ponies?" Dean asked. Before they could ask anymore questions they were left speechless at the sight of winged horses.
"Hey seaweed brain, I think you broke them, " Annabeth commented once she noticed the looks on the brother's faces.
"Somebody pinch me, " Sam said, unable to say anything else. Since he said something, Dean did pinch him, but not before pinching himself. "Ow that hurt, " Sam complained.
"Well you asked, and I can definitely say neither of us are dreaming, " Dean responded.
"Yes it's all very amusing but we have something more important to worry about, " Percy explained. "Hop on a Pegasus and we can go, " he continued. Dean paled at the thought of flying, and Sam picked on it instantly. Dean didn't know what to think as he had watched Sam casually climb onto the back of one of the pegasi with Annabeth.
"Are you going to get on Dean or are you going to stand there?" Sam said out loud. Dean snapped out of his shock and walked over to the Pegasi that Percy was on.
"It's okay Blackjack," Percy said, noticing that Blackjack was getting restless at the mere sight of Dean. "He's not going to hurt you,"
"Wait, that horse can talk?" Dean questioned, Percy chuckled.
"No, I can only understand him because I'm a child of Poseidon," Percy said as Dean got onto the Pegasus. However the minute he did Dean heard a strange noise coming from somewhere in the distance.
