"Who this Candice?" David asked intensely.

"This is Sam." I said

The boys looked at each other. Then back to me. Marko's uneasy look made me feel uncomfortable, i smiled to him and he gave a forced one back.

"come with us Candice" David ordered.

"excuse me?" I said with a cocked brow. Paul looked at me wide eyed to say 'dont dissobey him' but they don't own me.

"Candice." David called. I gave Sam an apologetic look and lifted myself off the bench. I started to walk to Marko's bike but David grabbed my arm and pulled me on to the back of his bike. I quickly looked to Marko who seemed a little on edge and panicky. I glanced to Paul who was exactly the same, even Dwayne seemed different.

We road off. David was driving exceedingly fast. It was so amazing, Me and David were laughing away but i heard no noise from the other, I turned to see if they were behind us. They were. So why were they acting so different.

We ended up back at the cave. David got off his bike and pulled me onto his back. He piggy-backed me into the cave and through into a part I'd never been before.

"this is my room." He said placing me on my feet. "No ones allowed in here."

"how come?" I asked. Looking around his room. It was filled with magnificent things. Jars filled with exotic jewles. Beautiful drapes hanging everywhere. His room was like an elite den you would build when you were young.

"You shouldn't ask so many questions, you know, I don't like it" He said sitting down on a chair hanging from a chain in the ceiling.

"Why?" I asked. He gave me a cocked brow as I realised I asked another question. "right."

He patted a small space next to him. I walked over to him cautiously. He pulled me into the gap and wrapped his musular arm around me. He smelt so good.

"You're a really pretty girl Candice." He said softly. I smiled to myself. Then he grabbed my face harshly, he pulled me so i was face to face with him. His eyes turned yellow with a firery orange ring around the rim.

"You shouldn't talk to the humans Candice" he said chuckling. "Or you'll be punished."

He released me and pushed me away. He waved an arm to dismiss me and I ran to find Paul. David terrified me, I needed my best friend. The image of his fiery eyes stuck in my mind like a thumb tack. The aggression in his voice as he hissed the words to me. Even the tightness in his grip.

I hastily walked down the cave corridor and tripped on some boxes. I grazed my hand and it bled greatly. In a flash Paul and Marko were at my aid, even carrying me to the bed in the main area.

"What happened?" Paul asked me, glancing to Marko.

"I fell oversome crates" I said.

"I meant with David?" He asked worriedly.

I heard David's cold voice in my head. 'Don't tell them Candice.' It said harshly.

"Nothing, we just spoke, it was fine" I lied throwing in a small smile at the end. They looked at me sadly. They could see through my lies. They knew.
