Chapter Seven

After the talk with the crew,Bishop had showed her the rest of their safehouse,she saw the armoury,the plan room-where they did all their planning for heists even those they did in other countries,she also saw their rooms and Bishop also showed her, her own room since she was going to be part of the Acolytes she was supposed to hace hers too.After the tour they both went  outside to the balcony for fresh air."so out of curiosity how was this gang formed...you all seem to know each other so well and you seem to know how to not step on each other's toes?"

Bishop held the balcony rails and thought back to where it all began."I met Priest about eleven years ago by then i was fifteen and i had been moving from one foster home to the next and so was Priest,he was sixteen by then.I had arrived at the orphanage after running away from my abusive foster parents and so i was caught and thrown back in the system.The kids there were not that welcoming so they bullied me and for the first too days i starved as they took my food every meal.the third day we heard there was a new kid even though we didn't see him until supper time because he kept to himself.That day like the other two,Tom,the bully came along with the other kids and tried to take my food but that day i was not going to give up so easily as i was prepared to die for the food and Tom soon realised it too so he decided to slap me but before he could hit me Priest had punched him and dropped him to the ground he then turned to me and told me to take my food and follow him.From that day he was my protector until we both left the system and we then reconnected about three years ago and he told me of his plan to start the crew with five members and since i was not working because of my bad track record in the system i decided to join in because i had to make money to make sure Malik,my son would have a better life you know,since his father died i had no other choice.Everyone here was picked by Priest because he knew them from his past and that we have skills that are useful to the crew.So you see people have painted us to be bad people but it's not all true,sometimes even good people break the law to try to do good things.in my case it's to protect my son from this pathetic life."Kate felt the pain that Bishop was going through and she knew that if the tables were turned she would do the same."So if you had a way out would you take it?"she asked.Bishop was quiet for a moment before answering."I would.Even if i was to be asked to do this again I would have chosen to find a better job you know,because not only do i miss Malik but I have to live life on the run and be forced to keep doing this.But now i can't because Priest would kill me before letting me go...you know if i were you i'd leave now and never turn back because what you see here is not what it's always going to be...you will find that we are always fighting and it's not for long before it happens during a heist and get us arrested or even killed."

At the Organisation's HQ
11:27AM
Raph had recorded everything from Kate's communication device up until the time it went off and now he kept himsel occupied with his project but he knew that he was not fully into it.As he was working,he felt a pat on his shoulder and he turned around to find Elizabeth Maguire.Raphael had beem smitten by her since she first joined the organisation but he always failed to ask her out and he wondered what she was doing in his work station since she was in the Bio-tech and medicine department."H...hi miss Maguire...uhm how may i help you?"he asked nervously and Elizabeth smiled sweetly"hi...agent Raph Mushtubai right?"Raphael nodded and he soon realised that this had to do with kate since she was the only one who called him that."yes that's me...did Kate,I mean agent Kate send you?" Elizabeth pulled out her phone and showed it to Raphael."I received this text a few minutes ago."Raphael read it and looked at her."did anyone else read this?"he asked,Elizabeth shook her head and answered "no i read it alone and came here to you."Raph took his phone and switched off his laptop."okay then let's get to work."Raph said as they headed to Elizabeth's lab.

Acolytes'safehouse
The day of the heist,21:35
Testing one,two,one,two sound-check.Priest?"Kate said as they were getting ready for the heist.Priest responded,"aye!"."Bishop?" "Copy!" "Big D?" "It's Druid you wesel!" "shut up asshole...Preach?" "Amen sister!" everyone laughed except for Priest who seemed tense,so Bishop asked."Priest why are you so quiet?" everyone looked at him as he fastened his bullet-proof vest."i don't know i feel like something is going to go wrong today..."everyone kept quiet until he spoke again."or maybe it's because of this little weasel's annoying voice that's giving me a fuckin' headache yeah?"everyone laughed as the tension left the atmosphere.

"Remember what we talked about okay?"Kate said to Bishop."I will..are you sure it will work though?...these guys can smell trouble from a mile away."Kate smirked,"They won't smell it this time because this time i'm the trouble."Bishop decided to trust Kate's plan as it was less likely to fail and she had no other choice."okay guys the systems are down so Preach you're good to go.remember you have a two minute window to replace the painting with my masterpiece."Kate spoke into the communication device she had given to everyone in the crew before they left the safehouse.The three guys were in the museum about to steal the painting and she and Bishop were in the getaway van where Kate had setup her mini station even though she didn't need it."you call a terible painting of joker is a masterpice?"Priest cursed from the other end of the line."can you people stop with your unproductive banter and focus please?" "okay boss..we're focused."Kate replied sacastically as Bishop stifled a laugh.
During that time Preach and Druid had entered the museum and were now in in front of the Painting."okay preach set the timer." "okay...two minutes timer set...mission control we are ready on your go."Kate switched on the signal jammer and activated it."signal jammer active Preach and Druid you are on."Druid carefully lifted off the painting from it's mounted position and put it in the bag which was on Preach's bag.this was difficult as they were hanging from the air vents to avoid touching the floor which had motion sensors."forty seconds to go bro." "Okay pass me the masterpiece."Preach passed him the Joker painting that Kate had painted earlier that day  and wrote Famous work by the acolytes.'"okay we are done and w're out."Preach checked the Timer and saw they had swapped the paintings with twenty-two seconds to spare."great we made it with twenty-two seconds to spare."they left through the airvents and went back to the car after meeting up with Priest who had remained tying up the security gaurds who were knocked out.
