Chapter 6- The Future is Forever Changed

We're going to be moving a little fast, but just keep in the course of the timeline in which things are happening.

It's been almost two years from this chapter versus the last to put it in perspective, this chapter will mention it.

I'm pregnant...

Pregnant.

I'm pregnant again.

I sat in Meliodas and I's chamber again, letting the news of this surprise baby sink in.

I felt distraught and confused. Was I happy?

Yea, I was...

And

"It's a boy..." I teared up, my happiness coming in tears but I also felt fear.

How do I tell Meliodas or anyone?

I had to beg the few clerics who were present to keep it a secret amongst themselves.

I would have to explain this to the demon king, Meliodas, and everyone in general. It wasn't easy to say how you're pregnant after already miscarrying once...

It wasn't your fault.

"It was not my fault. I didn't know." I spoke to myself, reassuring everything was going to be okay.

Nothing felt real at this moment, and like the cleric said; it was rather bittersweet.

I had no time to conclude as Meliodas walked into the room, yawning and stretching out his body.

I jolted, shocked by his appearance as I breathed out, "Love, you're back!" I said.

I didn't notice how much time had passed since I found out. Meliodas looked at me like I was crazy, "yeah, was I not supposed to be?" He asked, walking up to me and embracing me.

"No no, you are, I'm sorry I'm still a little sick," I said, lying through my teeth.

Meliodas hummed as he placed his forehead on mine, looking at mine.

'Are you sure Y/N? You know I'm here for you no matter what.' He began speaking through our bond.

I wanna tell him, but not right now.

'What the fuck do I even say.' I thought in my
head.

'I promise. I was just worried about you and missed you.'

I smiled at him and pecked his lips to seal the deal although I was sick to my stomach about keeping this secret.

Meliodas nodded, "Okay love, I'm going to bathe, I'll be back to you in a second." He said, heading to the bathroom.

I nodded as I sat on the bed and hummed as I caught a whiff of something...

Sickenly sweet.
