Present Time (28)

Soon the blond's body hit the water with a loud splash. The water on top of the surface was mixing as the teen began sinking into the depths of the ocean blue water.

His eyes remained open, and the longer he sank, the farther he was from the sun, and farther from the light.

He couldn't breathe, but it didn't scare him at all. The thought of needing air didn't even cross the blond's mind. He just let his body fall deeper into the depths of the ocean's tears.

Bakugou closed his eyes and he let the silence sink in before slowly opening them once again. Little bubbles were escaping his mouth, taking away the little air his lungs still had.

The teen reached out to the bubbles as if he could catch them, but he knew it'd be in vain.

He closed his eyes, and knew it was close to his end.

Beep....

Beep....

What is that sound?

Beep....

Beep....

It sounded familiar.

Suddenly Bakugou felt himself being pulled out the water, and he was now reaching closer to the light.

"chan"

"acchan"

"Kacchan"

"KACCHAN!"

The blond's eyes snapped open, and his breathing caught in his throat. His body bursted upright from the bed and he saw that he was in the nurses room.

There was a machine next to him him that kept beeping to his heart's rate. An oxygen mask was over his nose and mouth and he immediately pulled it off. His arms ached and burned, and he he looked down to see them bandaged up with some blood seeping into the once white areas.

The alpha groaned as he remembered what had happened. Tears pricked at his eyes knowing that his mate was gone. He felt empty, and he grabbed at his chest tightly as he gritted his teeth.

"Kacchan," a soft voice called out and the blond didn't want to meet his eyes.

Bakugou gripped the sheets tightly as tears streamed down his cheeks as his face dropped down with his hair covering his eyes.

The blond could feel his heart shattering in his chest leaving an empty void in its place. None of this was supposed to happen, and he let it. This was all his fault. How did he not notice when the omega was taken. They were sleeping in the same bed. The same damn bed they always shared! And now, he was going to be sleeping alone with a shadow as his only companion.

Bakugou started trembling as a fever was heating him up. Nonstop tears were spilling onto the covers as a scream built up in his throat.

Two hands were suddenly placed on his shoulder catching the blond off guard.

"Kacchan, it's going to be okay. Todoroki's strong, so he'll pull through when we find him," Deku reassured with a firm tone to his voice.

Bakugou fisted his hands and shoved the other teen hard despite his weak conditions. The green haired teen stubbles back and was able to get a glimpse of the blond crying before his eyes were covered once again by his locks of hair.

"He shouldn't need to be found. He should be here with me! None of this should have happened, but I was too damn weak to do anything!" Bakugou screamed as he pulled the covers off of himself roughly and bolted out of the room.
