Sorry short chapter since school is piling up

The night was a blanket of darkness with white blasts of light coming from the far away stars.

A power outage took all the pollution away temporarily leaving everything painted black expect for the few light posts that were unaffected.

It was completely silent as frost began to sprinkle over the whole city. The snow banded together down below, and with it came the sound that was absorbed by the white particles.

It set up the perfect opportunity to scope the city without being threatened by the presence of others, and a certain reptile was taking advantage of it.

Spinner was dressed in two winter coats. His movements were getting increasingly slower and difficult with the dropping temperatures, but he had a mission to complete. He was going to get both Dabi and Todoroki out of the League of Villains grasp and back with the heroes.

Earlier he had left a small black box at Dabi's cell, and in it was a tracking device that he was planning to give to the heroes. He just needed to make it to UA. At this point, his chances of making it grew slimmer and slimmer.

"Damn...it," Spinner said barely above a whisper. His breaths were barely visible in the darkness, but it reminded him that he was racing against the hour glass, and there would be no restart by turning it.

The reptile's footsteps left defining shoe prints that led all the way back to the League of Villains head quarters. He planned on it, but the continuous snow fall was making it vanish without a trace.

Spinner's veins started to feel like ice. His body was trembling as his teeth clattered together. His hair was freezing together by how cold the weather was, and it was beginning to make his scalp numb. Despite wearing two pairs of gloves, his fingers were darkening from frostbite, and it was spreading by the minute.

The reptile felt his knees buckle, and he tumbled onto the ground. His face turned to ice against the fluff of coldness that stuck to his face. The flurries of gathered snow didn't even melt down his face by how cold he was. His eye was closed by the snow mixed with rubble that was plunged into his eyelid.

He attempted to stand up, but his body refused to move. He tried a few times, but he accepted his defeat.

A tear run down Spinners right eye, and it slowly melted the snow all the way to the ground.

He wanted to save both Dabi and Todoroki from the hell Shigaraki was putting them through, but in the end he was too weak to do it.

"I'm sorry, Dabi."

A shadow stood over Spinner's cold body.

The person tilted their head as they crouched down in front of the green skinned man. The mysterious figure pressed two fingers against Spinner's neck, and a faint pulse was still beating, but it was quickly waning.

The figure picked up the reptile and threw him over their shoulders. Their knees buckled from the added weight, but they managed to keep their balance. Once Spinner was secured, the figure began to move, and their footsteps were gone.
