Asteria

Long, boring weeks dragged by slowly, taking any sense of a positive mentality I might have had with them. With Sam to no longer bother and many people not speaking to me because of their fear of Dream, I was left with nothing to do. Nothing other than sit in my small wooden house just poking out a few feet away from the forest, overlooking part of L'Manberg.
I had seen him from afar, hard at work on the prison. I knew I couldn't go over to him though and tell him we could take a lunch break, or flirt with him, or touch his green hair, or tell him all the things I feel like I truly want to. He was so close - but out of reach for me.
Rain was almost constant now, but I didn't mind. I loved the rain. Reading in the rain brought an entirely new sensation of calming, and even more so when done by the window with a cup of tea. I've done a lot of reading and training in the last few weeks, and it's all that I had done, really. I would train, read, and maybe go for a walk at some point in time throughout my day.
Now it was time to bother someone with my presence.

"Do you believe in miracles?"
"I believe in things that happen. For example, one thing that will happen is me smashing my fist in your face if you keep talking nonsense."
Technoblade's pink braid swished as he walked, picking up apples on the ground that had fallen from his apple trees, courtesy of Ghostbur. I knew he was getting annoyed with me, but he could live with it. Besides, that was part of the fun.
"Ah, so you can tell the future." I nodded.
"As much as I love women, I want to punch you."
I picked up an apple he left behind, "Oh, come on. I'm not that annoying."
He stopped, then cast a backwards glance in my direction, "I think I prefer the child."
"Tommy?"
"It has a name?"
"It" left his mark on Technoblade's property - a massive cobblestone tower. I had learned after arriving at Techno's cabin that Tommy escaped exile, and he was the one Dream was referring to when he said he was betrayed. I was glad he escaped from Dream, and I for sure was not going to tell anyone about the boys true whereabouts.
"I know I was complaining about you earlier, but your silence is even scarier." Techno muttered, now stopping to inspect the apples in his basket.
I knew Techno cared, regardless of his tough exterior. He and I used to be together a lot, considering Phil would leave Wilbur and I with him when we were younger, even though he was only a few years older.
I rolled my eyes, "I'm not a child I know how to be quiet."
"Aren't you like 17?"
"I'm 20!"
"And how old is that guy you're seein'?"
Damn, "Psh...what guy, haha, no guy! Because men are awful and we very heavily discriminate against men." I stammered.
He looked at me, giving me a bitch face as he said, "True, but seriously."
"He's 24."
"I thought Dream was your age?"
I chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of my neck, "Haha, yeah, it's not Dream. It's Sam."
Techno instantly perked up, and I could almost detect a smile, "Fuckin' finally. Dream is an asshole. And Sam has a cool house. Major upgrade, I'm proud of you."
