Shade 10: Obedience.
It had been days since Arthur's tragic death. Gwen and Merlin were nowhere to be seen and the kingdom was in ruins. No one had time to mourn, they were too busy getting used to the new laws... and the new king. With Mordred on the throne, Magic was now permitted in Camelot.
Gwaine and the other knights had talked about rebelling, but how could they? With Mordred and Reevena both having the powers they had, it would be impossible to beat them... They'd just have to get used to life under Mordred's reign.
Reevena sat on (what used to be) Gwen's throne, She sat still with her head tilted back resting on the back of the seat. Her eyes were closed and her breath was steady; it was clear she was trying to enjoy the relaxing silence that had fallen upon the palace. Her eyes quickly darted open and her head jolted upwards; A loud crying sounded from the corner of the room. She squinted and slowly plodded in the direction of the noise.
Lifting up a dirty cloth, she found a tiny child - newborn, nestled in the corner screaming.
"Imogen?" She muttered
"What is it?" Mordred questioned
"Arthur's daughter... Gwen must've left her" She said gently cradling the child in her arms. She looked up at Mordred with giant puppy dog eyes. Tilting her head, the sides of her mouth curled into a smile.
Mordred sighed "You want to keep her?" he smiled
"Uh huh" She hummed
"Honestly Ree... You lie, you steal, your murder and then you lie some more, your the ultimate BAMF and you have no mercy, but give the woman a baby and watch her melt..." He joked
"I showed mercy toward you.."
"Yeah, but I'm cute!" Mordred grinned, taking the baby from Reveena's arms and cradling her.

"I can't believe they adopted Artur's daughter!" Leon exclaimed
"I can't believe I'm Reevena's Servant!" Kaley added
Percival entered the room "I can't believe they haven't killed us yet!"
"I can't believe your all stood here doing this!" Gwaine mocked
"Oooh! Someone got out of the wrong side of the hangover... you shouldn't have drunk so much last night Gwaine"
"Oh, be quiet Kaley!" Gwaine retorted taking a huge swig of water
Kaley, stunned by Gwaine's sudden coldness, left the room in a huff.
Percival took a stern tone "Come on Gwaine, lighten up..."
Gwaine sighed hard "I just think you all need to stop moaning and do what your told"
"Since when were you this obedient?" Leon butted in
"Since our king, and friend, was murdered. Since our queen ran away. Since half of our kingdom was slaughtered, including some of our family!. Since Mordred became King and Since Magic was allowed back in the kingdom!"
Leon and Percival both looked at each other in shock before turning back to Gwaine and exploding with laughter. Gwaine stormed out of the room, leaving Leon and Percival rolling in their own tears of laughter.

Kaley made her way to the royal chambers "You summoned me my lady?"
"Ah, Kaley! I need you to do something for me..."
Kaley tossed Reevena a look of confusion
"But" Reevena continued "No one can know... Especially not Mordred!"
"Of course my Lady!" Kaley reassured her
Reevena smiled and dismissed Kaley from the room.
