chapter 1

(y / n's pov)

I am in a dark room like a elevator. the elevator is getting faster and i see a red light above me, what is that?

"help, can someone hear me, help" i screamd

When the elevator comes to a standstill and the ceiling opens, i opened my eyes and see about 30 guys looking down at me. one jumps into the box. I step back scared. The blonde boy notices that i have a gag, and assures me that everything is fine, as he said his name is newt. it occurs me that i don't remember my name and i panic. Newt tries to calm me down. he takes my hand and helps me out of the box. all the boys there stare at me. One little guy, he must be in the age of 14, he goes straight to me.

,,hello my Name is chuck, welcome to the glade" he said.

,,hello chuck, i don't know my Name right now haha" i answerd

(Newt's pov)

Like every month we all went to the box when we heard them come up. As always, I jumped in to greet the newcomer. But this time it was like never before,
it was a girl. she looked very scared when I jumped next to her.

"Hi, I'm newt, you don't have to be afraid. What's your name?"

she panicked again, probably because she doesn't remember her name.

"I don't know, I don't know my name"

she said with a little fear in her voice. i told the boys to burst a little and the girl not too tight. I gave her my hand and helped her out of the box.

Chuck introduced himself right in front of him as nice as he is.

Thomas looked at her exactly like me, he probably likes her too.

Minho looked like he already knew exactly how to get her.

Alby looked normal. I think he would treat her just like us, except that she doesn't have to fight gally, I hope.

I took her hand and took her with me to show her the glade and teach her the rules, and I introduced her to everyone.

(Y/n's pov)

the blonde boy named newt introduced me to everyone and explained the rules to me.
i got to know minho, he is the leader of the runners. Minho told me a lot about the labyrinth and said that as a runner I wouldn't make myself bad at all.
he allowed me to go with the other runners and him tomorrow.

"I'm really tired now," I said to minho.

Minho brought me back to newt who showed me the hut where I should sleep. it looked really cozy.

"good night newt" I said

"Good night," he replies.

and then i remember my name

,, y/n, my name is y/n!" I screamed.

,,yea well done y/n, your name is really nice. sleep well" he said in a sweet voice

"Thank you,sleep well too newti" I said.

shortly afterwards I noticed how stupid it was, his name is newt and not newti, i am so stupid I just went into the hut and went to sleep before newt could say something urgent.

(Newt's pov)

*this girl is really amazing *
I thought while I was planting a tomato. when it started getting dark, minho brought the girl back to me.

i showed her her hut and i think she liked it.

"good night newt"she said

"good night" I said

She suddenly looked very astonished as if she had seen a ghost.

,,my name is y/n, my name is
y/n."she shout

I didn't know what to say, so I just said that i think her name is very nice and said good night to her again.

"good night newti" she replied

What? she just called me newti, kind of cute.she ran into the hut and closed the door beforei could said something. i went to my and minhos hut with a smile on my face. I try to sleep but couldn't sleep,because I was thinking about y/n all the time. her red cheeks and her beautiful hair and the way she pronounced my name.
