Come on Foxkit, let's play! Foxkit opened her eyes. She heard Snowkit calling her name so she scampered outside and found Snowkit playing with Firekit and Leafkit. Firekit and Leafkit were six moons old, they were going to become apprentices today! Let all cats old enough to hunt join me underneath the highrock for a clan meeting yowled Bushstar! Cats started coming out of their dens to join Bushstar under the highrock. Today we welcome two new apprentices to the clan. Bushstar beckoned Firekit and Leafkit to join him. Firekit and Leafkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Firekit, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Firepaw. Your mentor will be Wolfclaw. Wolfclaw, I trust you to pass down your knowlege to your apprentice. Firepaw scampered up to tuch noses with Wolfclaw. Leafkit, from this day on, until you earn your warrior name you will be called Leafpaw. Your mentor will be Snowtail. Snowtail, I trust you to pass on your knowlege to your apprentice. Leafpaw walked up to Snowtail to tuch noses. The clan cheered. Leafpaw! Firepaw! Leafpaw! Firepaw!
The clan broke up into their groups. Foxkit and Snowkit scampered up to Leafpaw and Firepaw. Wow said Foxkit, your apprentices! Snowkit just stared up looking astonished, then she walked away muttering under her breath " Its not fair! We should be apprentices! We're almost six moons old!" Foxkit stared at her as she walked away. Firepaw! Snowpaw! time to shows you around the territoy! Firekit and Snowkit said see ya and ran off after their mentors. Foxkit went back to the nursery. " Snowkit are you ok? Why did you run off like that?" Snowkit just stared at her and said " Its not fair! I want to be apperenticed right now! i'm not going to wait another two moons!" It's ok Snowkit, "How about we go and play outside?" Snowkit nodded and they went outside. Hey Foxkit, bet you can't catch me! Foxkit watched Snowkit run and soon ran after her. Foxkit accendentally ran into Webpool on the way. Kits, muttered Webpool and he stalked away. "Whats wrong with him" thought Foxkit. Snowkit found Foxkit and meowed " I won!" Snowkit saw the look on Foxkit's face "Hey, whats on your mind?" Foxkit replied that nothing was bothering her and so Snowkit bounded away.
