Foxstar's Destiny

Chapter 2

The moon was rising so Foxkit and Snowkit had to come inside and go to sleep. Whitefur? It was Foxkit. "When will we be apprentices?" "It's a long time yet" meowed Whitefur, "Now go to sleep." The next day Foxkit and Snowkit bounded over to the apprentices den hoping that Firepaw or Leafpaw were there. "Nobody"s here right now" it was Rippleclaw. "They just left to go and learn how to hunt." Foxkit's tail drooped and she started to walk away, but then Mousetail, a senior warrior called Foxkit over. Foxkit went over and Mousetail meowed " Hey Foxkit, want to share this mouse with me? I can't finish it by myself." Foxkit looked at the mouse and sat down. " Are you ok Foxkit? You look like something's on your mind." Foxkit stared blankly at Mousetail and shrugged " Nothing, it's just that i really want to be an apprentice soon like Firepaw and Leafpaw." Mousetail meowed " Don't worry, your be an apprentice soon. These things take their time." Foxkit finished her share of the mouse and she padded away to the nursery.

Whitefur saw Foxkit enter the nursery. "Come here Foxkit, you need to be washed." Foxkit happily padded over and sat down so Whitfur could wash her. After she was finished, Snowkit came over and meowed " Meet me behind the nursery." Foxkit wondered why but then decided that she should should she follow.

Behind the nursery,Foxkit found Snowkit "What do you want?" Meowed Foxkit. " Do you want to come with me? Tonight I'm going to go and explore the territory myself if I can't be an apprentices now." She lashed her tail. Foxkit stared at her in astonishment. " If your sure then I'll come with you" meowed Foxkit. So after dusk, the kits went through a tunnel in the dirtplace. "Wow" Snowkit breathed, it's so big! Foxkit agreed, it was big. Then she heard pawprints heading towards them. " Run!" Yowled Foxkit and they ran. Finally, once they realized that they were out of site, they also realized that they were lost. Snowkit started worrying " What should we do Foxkit?" Foxkit struggled to find an answer but couldn't think of one. " I don't know" she whispered. So they started exploring and next thing they know they were on OceanClan territory. Foxkit heard a patrol coming " Quick! A patrol is coming! Hide!" They dove into the nearing bundle of reeds. " I can smell you" next they knew, they were getting hauled out of the reeds. "What are you doing on OceanClan territory?" Meowed Owltuft. "We are sorry Owltuft" it was Foxkit who spoke " We just wanted to explore our territory but we accidentally fell into your territory." Owltuft looked at the kits and meowed " Lets get you back to your camp." So all three cats padded into SnowClan territory.
