Chapter 12

Hey guys!I hope you're all okay.So this is chapter 12,as you can see.Duh.Anyways,I thought I would change a bit and put Harry's POV,since I feel like I didn't in a really long time.Love all 128 of you:)

Harry's POV

Louis and Ellie were gone for awhile.I made macaroni and cheese.I usually like to cook,but this time,it was different.My heart was aching.How can someone do this to my beautiful Ellie?She's not mine,but I still felt the strong need to protect her.And I failed her.

I call the rest of the boys down and they settle at the kitchen table,eating their plates.No one was saying anything,everybody lost in their thoughts.

I decide to bring two plates upstairs for Ellie and Louis.I knock on the door softly.I hear a very quiet ''come in" and I enter the room slowly.

The first thing I see is Louis,laying in Ellie's bed,with her head on his chest.She was sleeping,little huffs of air coming out of her nose,while Louis was stroking her hair peacefully.

I feel a bit jealous at the sight.No,Harry,this is not the right time to be jealous.No.

-Hi."I say quietly and approach the bed,putting the plates on the nightstand careful not to make noise."How is she holding up?"

-"She's was very tired and felt lonely,so we just took a nap."Louis says,his hair pointing in every direction."I just woke up."

We see Ellie shuffle a bit,but we don't think anything of it.

-"I brought you guys food.The others are downstairs."i whisper.

-"Okay,I'll try to wake her up."Louis says.He puts his hand carefully on her shoulder and shakes it lightly.

-"Ellie,wake up love."he says quietly.They seem close.Very close.

Ellie moves a bit.

-"No,stop."she mumbles.We look at each other confused.

-"Come on babe."Louis tries again.

-'No,I don't want to."she mumbles,still asleep.She's having a nightmare.

-"Lou,she's having a bad dream...about...you know."i say quietly and reach for her hand."Ellie,sweetie,it's just a nightmare."

I see tears on her cheeks while she shuffles in the bed.

-"Please don't do this."she cries out.I felt a lump in my throat.

-"Ellie,wake up.Wake up Ellie."Louis says,and I see him in the same state as me.

Ellie suddenly shoots up in the bed.

-"NO."she screams and opens her eyes.Not knowing what to do,I just stand there quietly.

-''Ellie?Are you okay?''Louis asks slowly.

She turns to us so suddenly,her neck might have snapped out of place.

-"What are you doing here?"she asks us both,a frown on her face.She had tears down her cheeks.

-"Ellie,you fell asleep,and you asked me to stay..."Louis says.

-"And I just brought some food."I say."Ellie,you had a...nightmare."

-"I know what I just had.I remember it exactly."she snaps.We look at her with wide eyes,not expectinga outburst.
