Saving Two Kingdoms and A Royal Engagement

Over the next few days, with the aid of both the royal family and the army, the small group's plan to give the antidote to everyone in the kingdom ran like clockwork. Each day, they went out with the soldiers going from house to house, giving the cure to both the well and the sick. By the time they had given the antidote to the entire royal court, every person in the kingdom had received the cure, the sick had become well, and the well was immune. After only three weeks, the entire Peanut Butter kingdom, including the royal family, was free from the plague and its dangers. Two days after the domain was free from the affliction, Caddaric, Aimee, Athena, Apollo, and Celestine left the Peanut Butter kingdom to complete their mission freeing the Jelly kingdom from the same plague.

After half a day's journey, the small group finally arrived in the Jelly Kingdom. Once they arrived at the palace, Celestine gave the antidote to Aimee's mother and older sister along with the entire royal guard and the royal army before they all retired for the night. The very next day, the small group, with the royal army, began to distribute the antidote by going from house to house like they had in the Peanut Butter kingdom. Like the Peanut Butter kingdom, the Jelly kingdom was freed from the plague only three weeks. Two days before they were to return to the well, the small group was having a celebratory dinner with Queen Mermelada and Lord Socrates, who had arrived at the palace the day before, when Caddaric stood up next to Aimee and began to speak.

"I would like to make an announcement," Caddaric declared as all eyes turned towards him. "These past few months have made me realize how short and precious life is, and a true story that was told to me by our new friend and sister made me realize another thing. When you meet the one who will become the love of your life, you should always keep them in your life because you can only find True Love once in your life."

Caddaric then turned towards Aimee and said to her. "Aimee, it's been four years since the summer when we first met up in the mountains. Even back then, even though I didn't realize it yet, I knew from the moment I saw you are the woman for me."

Aimee blushed as she listened to Caddaric's words of love to her. Instantly, Caddaric knelt on one knee before Aimee, much to her surprise, and pulled out the ring box that he had been secretly carrying for weeks. "My darling Aimee, I love you, and I want to be with you forever," Caddaric declared as Aimee looked at him lovingly. 

When Caddaric opened the box, Aimee gasped when she saw that it contained a beautiful antique gold ring with a beautiful diamond in the center." Aimee, will you marry me? Will you be my wife?" Caddaric asked as he waited for an answer. Aimee thought for a quick moment before she finally answered. "Yes!" Aimee happily exclaimed as Caddaric slipped the ring onto her left ring finger. As everyone celebrated the young couple's engagement, Caddaric and Aimee sealed it with a passionate True Love's Kiss.

The next day, while the small group was having breakfast with Lord Socrates, an unfamiliar servant arrived with a cup of juice for Aimee. However, before Aimee could take a sip, Celestine quickly knocked the cup out of her hand, and the cup fell to the floor. "I had to stop you from taking a drink. The juice was laced with a love potion," Celestine explained as the servant who had brought the juice tried to leave the dining room. "Guards, seize that servant!" Celestine called out as he tried to make a run for it.

The guards quickly seized the servant and brought him towards them, and when Lord Socrates got a closer look at the servant, he immediately recognized him. "Lord Judas," Lord Socrates exclaimed at the sight of one of his former pupils. "You know this man Lord Socrates?" asked Celestine." He is one of my former students. He wasn't very good with casting spells as he was with creating love potions," Lord Socrates explained, much to Celestine's surprise and shock. "Love potions are forbidden potions, anyone who is caught with them in their possession will face imprisonment, and if they try to use them on others, they will have their powers stripped from them and executed," said Celestine.

"Why did you give Princess Aimee juice that was laced with a love potion?" Lord Socrates asked Judas as he questioned him. "I had created a love potion that is tied to me, and I wanted to give it to the princess so she would fall in love with me," Judas told his former teacher since he could not lie to him. "I was supposed to give the princes a love potion that was tied to Prince Pelmazo, but when I first saw her portrait, I went against him because I wanted her and her wealth for myself."

As Caddaric kept his arms wrapped protectively around a shocked and frightened Aimee, they, along with their friends, watched as the Archmage used a wordless spell to strip the traitress wizard of his powers. "Take him away and lock him up in the dungeons for now," Lord Socrates ordered the guards as they took Judas away to the dungeons. "I will immediately send for the sorcerer guards on the Council, and they will take him back to the castle of the Council of Magic for immediate execution," Lord Socrates said as he immediately got up and began to return to his quarters.

Once Lord Socrates had left to contact the Council, Celestine turned to her friends and spoke. "I believe now is the time to bring our plan for Pelmazo into motion since one of his allies is now out of commission." Everyone instantly agreed with the young sorceress, and they immediately went with Celestine to her quarters to put their plan into action.
