Aino glanced at him, shaking her head. "No, I think he might end up sticking to his other friends idea." Shinsou sighed scrolling through his phone, he paused for a moment. "...Hey, why did you decide to transfer schools here?" He kept his eye on the screen. "You enjoyed your old school- er, classes, right?"
It was silent for a moment, before a soft chuckle came from the other. "I didn't choose to come to this school, actually." The boy took his eyes off of his phone, looking forward. Aino wasn't looking at him anymore. "My dad decided to send me here. He figured I should try to make friends before high school started."
His eyes widened, "You didn't have any friends?" He winced, he probably could've phrased that better. Aino chuckled, raising an eyebrow at the boy. "Up until last year I didn't really have any friends, yes." She leaned back, staring at the clouds.
"My first friend was one of my neighbors, i don't even think he recognized me at first." She let out a low whistle, "then again I really didn't leave the house much." Shinsou chuckled at her comment, finally looking up from his phone. "Who was your second friend?"
She raised an eyebrow. "You?" He sputtered, whirling around to face Aino, "Me?!" She shrugged. "Why are you shocked? If I didn't want to be your friend I wouldn't be sitting with you everyday."
He stared in shock, clearing his throat. "I... I thought you were doing it out fo pity..." Aino scoffed, "What would I get out of that? It seems like a dumb thing to do."
They sat in silence for a while, Shinsou processing this 'new' Information, Aino staring at the sky. "Hey," Shinsou started, "What do friends usually do after school?" Aino froze, a grin spreading across her face. "Oh I have the perfect idea."

Touya shuffled through the fridge, sighing at its contents. "Aino!" The girl leaned, her head peeking through the kitchen archway. "Hai?" He sighed, shutting the fridge carefully. "Can you pick up groceries at the supermarket for dinner?" The girl winced, glancing towards the door. "Im actually banned from that store." Touya blanched.
"You're what?"
