...
Touya didn't know how to address this situation. On one hand, he'd only been here for a few months, on the other hand... Aino was talking to a boy all night. He was tempted to simply open the door and ask who she was talking too... only that'd be crossing the line, right? He let out a sigh, his eyes gazing at the door. A small giggle came from inside the room, and he let a small smile spread across his features. Eh, he couldn't do much in the long run.
He continued towards the door, shuffling through his pockets for the guest key. A small click! Sounded from the door lock, Touya glances behind him, squinting at the now opened door. He shrugged, it's probably nothing.
"Hey, Aino-Chan, who are you talking to!" "Himiko! Knock next time!"
A chuckle escaped his lips as the door swung shut. Ah, he hadn't taken Himiko into account.
🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓
"You didn't have to hit me!"
Aino huffed from the kitchen. "Well you didn't have to barge in! You could've knocked!" Himiko pouted, crossing her arms. Her golden eyes trained on the phone sitting by the counter, a smirk playing on her features.
"So... who were you texting?" Aino shifted, turning to face the other. "It's the guy from the store yesterday. He's pretty cool."
She pulled a can of juice out of the fridge, smiling at Himiko. "He says he moved so we might not run into him again." The girls eyes lingered for a moment, an odd look playing on her face. Her nails began to tap idly on the counter, her gaze distant.
Himiko cleated her throat, "Don't you have an assignment to do?" Aino froze, her eyes widening. "Shit- you're right! It's still six in the morning go to school!" The girl let out a mock groan, watching Aino scramble back into her room. She grinned, at least she distracted Aino from whatever was in her head!
"Himiko!" The girl blinked. "Right! School, sorry!" She paused; "I'll grab Koikeya on the way back!"
🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓
"None of this makes any sense." The girl groaned, glaring at the screen in front of her. It didn't make sense, villain activity had spiked for the last several years and suddenly, it drops. It just didn't make sense. "I didn't want to go patrolling at all this week..." The girl slowly stood from her desk, her dark hair falling hazardously in front of her eyes.
She let out a huff, lightly closing her laptop. She stalked out of her bedroom, quickly walking towards the kitchen. Her eyes shifted around the room, before landing on a small container. 'Maybe I can grab some cookies...?' Her hands glided up to the container, shakily lifting the container. 'Almost...'
*Knock Knock*
"Shit!" The box slammed on the ground, The girl cringed at the loud metallic sound. She glared at the front door, sighing quietly. Aino stumbled quickly towards the living room, shuffling to unlock the door. She opened the door, pausing. "Midoriya-San?"
The older woman smiled, a panicky expression on her face. "Hi, Aino-Chan, are you busy right now?" Aino shook her head, smiling brightly at the woman. "Uh- no, no, I just took a break from work. Would you like to come in?"
"Oh, no it's okay, I came to ask if you could pickup Izuku for me? Lately he's been coming home with a lot of bruises, and I won't be able to do first aid today." She shifted, a sad smile spreading across her face. "I was hired by a client today."
"Ah." She blinked. "When does he get out of school? I'll walk him." Inko smiled brightly, shuffling through her purse. "He gets out in two hours-" "Two hours-?!" "I'll give you something to treat yourself with."
"N-no, it's okay! He's my friend, I'd do it either way!"
"Nonsense! You're a kid just like him, and you have work at this age! It's not good for a child to work that hard!" The woman shuffled out of the doorway, bowing slightly. She froze suddenly, a distant look taking over her face. "Oh, right. If you see anyone hurting him, tell me, okay?"
Aino smiled, a glare of mischief shimmering in her eyes. "I would either way." She watched the woman walk away, her eyes growing distant. '....Maybe I'll buy cookies on the way back.'
