"Hey, Naoi!" I call out the the small, Otonashi-obssessed, boy.

He sighs angrily after being interrupted by his daydreaming. "What?"

"You can hypnotise people, right? Do you think you can use that to try unlock some memories from before I died?"

"I could give it a go, but there's no promise it will work. For Otanashi, it only worked a bit. He remembered everything after Angel slept on his chest, because he gave her his heart after he died." He informs.

Trying this is better than nothing, and he's actually considering it which has surprised me.

"So... when should we do it?" I ask, already knowing what his response will be.

"Well we have to go through Otonashi first, let's see what he says."

Of course we'd have to get his permission first. We go to find Otonashi, who's with Kageyama. They're talking about something... it seems important. Sorry, but I am more important.

When me and Naoi tell them our plan to hypnotise me, they act as if we were contributing to their previous conversation.

"That's such a good idea!" Otonashi praises, giving Naoi the happiest expression I've ever seen.

"Let's go do it now!" Kageyama suggests.

"Shouldn't we tell Yuri first?" I ask, just for it to get shot down.

"That will take too long." He replies.

"Let's go to the english classroom." Otonashi says.

Just as were about to walk off Noda shows up ominously, holding onto his battle axe tightly. "What exactly aren't we telling Yuripee?" He demands.

"Ayato is going to hypnotise me in hopes to get my memories back." I tell him bluntly. If I don't tell him now, he'd get it out of one of us eventually.

"Don't call me that." Naoi orders.

"Noda," Otonashi says, grabbing his attention, "we know you want her memories back as much as the rest of us."

He grunts for a moment, glaring at the ginger. He then glances at me, then at Kageyama who was standing behind me. Sighing, he returns the axe onto his back. "Fine, but only if I go! You can't leave me out of these things!"

He turns his back to us and leads the way to the classroom. "I was the only one left at the end, remember." He mutters, barely audible to anyone.

As we walk into the classroom, Naoi and I sit opposite from each other on a table in the middle.

Kageyama and Noda sit either side of me, and Otonashi stands at the door to make sure no one comes in.

Naoi drops his stopwatch thing, letting it swing from side to side, with a clicking sound each time it changed direction.

Before I knew it, I feel like I'm drifting into a light sleep, into my early memories.

I remember cheering for volleyball matches, celebrating with the members on the bus rides back.

I remember Yachi. I remember Tsukishima, I remember Oikawa. I remember the whole team.

I remember Tobio.

I remember Ed, Miwa, and that time he four of us were together when the police knocked on their door.

Before I manage to dig deeper into my later memories, we get interrupted by the rest of the battlefront slamming the door into Otonashi's nose, wondering what's going on.
