Sam took the divorce paper out the drawer for the what seem to be about then hundredths times now. She examined it over end over, reading every word, paying attention to every single detail; trying to find something that would stop her from signing it. Anything; a clause, a word that she doesn't understand, anything that is unreasonable, anything to stop this process form moving forward; anything. She looked it over and over as she has done plenty of time, there isn't anything. She knew there wouldn't be anything, Jason has always been fair to her, he wouldn't do anything to hurt her or Danny, she knew that then and she knew that now. She didn't tell Drew that she got the divorce paper; he left this morning for a business meeting, he will be back tomorrow. Danny is at the Quatermaines; she needed this time alone with her thoughts so she could do the impossible, divorce Jason and married Drew legally.  It has been six months since she had married Drew and a year since she and Drew had been together. A year with a man she thought was Jason. A year of her life she can't get back.  How could she not have know that the person she was with for a whole year was not Jason, her Jason? The signs were there and every now and then he seems different, but she was so desperate for it to be real that she didn't think twice about anything. She missed him so much, she would have done anything to have him back in her life, she would have lived in denial for the rest of her life even if it meant that she would have a part of him and not all of him.
Her phone rang as she ran her fingers over the the papers. She looked at the caller ID, It was Drew
"Hey Drew" she  said
"Hi" he said "you okay?"
"Yeah", she replied. "I'm just a bit tired"
"Okay, get some rest, I was just checking in", he said. "I'll see you tomorrow"
"Okay"
"And Sam I love you"
"I love you too she said as she hang up the phone.
She looked at her phone. It was almost 10. Jason at a business meeting; running a media company. What's wrong with me. How could I be so blind. She thought to herself.

"Air, I need air", she said

She grabbed her keys along with the divorce papers, took the elevator down to the garage, got in her car and began to drive. She didn't know where she was going, she was just driving. She drove for about forty five minutes then she stopped in the middle of nowhere, parked the car, got out the car and began to walk. She didn't know where she was walking to,  something or someone was pulling her and navigating her every move. She stopped and gather her thoughts, she looked around.
"This place seems familiar"  she thought .
She knew this place, there was something special about this place. This place held special memories. She continued to walk, she saw it, the cabin; the one that Jason build in the spot where he felt more at  home.
"Why are the lights on, she ponder  to herself, "this is strange. Could Jason be here? no he couldn't, he wouldn't be here, not here. She walked up to the cabin and peeped through the window, before she could catch her breath; she heard a familiar click and then a familiar voice
"Don't move"
She didn't flinched "Jason, its me"
He quickly lowered the gun and put it in his waist behind him. "I'm sorry" he said, "what are you doing here?"
"Me, what are you doing here?"
"If memory serves right , I think I build this place"
"Yes you did", she said as she smiled
"Come in, he said as he opened the door and let her in
"Are you sure" she asked
"You don't want to?"
"Well since I'm already here"
She walked in the cabin and he closed the door behind them. He leaned against the door and stared at her as she walked around the room, examining everything.
"It looks the same since the last time we were here" She said
"I know" he said
"Are you living here", she asked "what about the Metro Court, wait I thought you had your own place
"No to living here and yes Carly did help me find a place but, I just wanted to be around something, somewhere familiar"
"Somewhere that feels like home", she said
He looked at her, "something like that"
He walked over close to her and stand facing her, "what are you doing here"
"How long have you been here?", she asked ignoring the questions
"Since yesterday", he said
"Why yesterday, why now?"
He moved slightly backward away from her and sat on the bed, "I don't think this is the right time..
"The divorce papers, she interrupted him
"How did you know?"
"I got them two days ago"
"And", he asked
"And what?' she said "I couldn't sign them Jason, I couldn't"
"Ok" he said
She walked over to sat on the couch, he walked over and sat beside her. "What are we doing Sam, what's gonna happen to us?"
"I don't know Jason"
They both sat in silence staring into save. She turned around and put her feet up on the couch to face him. "Say it, she said to him
"Say what?" he asked
"Say what you're thinking"
"Now is not the time"
"When is the time Jason?, yell, scream, say something"
He turned around to face her
"How could you not know?" he said, "how could you not feel it?", how could you not think that I was out there fighting to get back to you and Danny, "how could you not know?"
