Jaxon P.O.V -
It had been four months since he last saw Alice, four months since he destroyed the best thing that'd ever happened to him. Alice loved him even though he was doing what he was doing at the time. It was April now, and he hadn't killed since December. Even though he was quite certain that he would never see Alice again, he couldn't let her down and give in. Alice was right he could be whatever he wanted and he was going to be forever thankful to her for showing him that.
A lot had happened in the past four months, Jaxon had gotten a scholarship at a university and he was studying to become a criminologist.
The uni life was treating Jaxon good, he had gotten a lot of friends and there were a lot of girls around, wanting to get Jaxon's attention, but whenever a girl was flirting with him, he rejected her. Alice was still on his mind day and night.
The university Jaxon was attending was located pretty close to where Alice were living. Just in case he ever get the balls to visit her again.

While Jaxon was walking down the hallway in his dormitory Jaxon's good friend and roommate Nate jumped onto his back.
"WOO IT'S FRIDAY JAXON!"
"Get of my back, have you forgotten that you go to the gym like everyday and I don't?"
Nate jumped of Jaxon's back with a pout.
"What a party pooper you are Jax. What's up?"
"Nothing."
"I'm not dumb, besides I live with you I can tell there's something."
Jaxon forced a smile and hoped that Nate wouldn't notice.
"No I promise I'm just tired and want to go and take a nap."
"You're like a baby. Oh I almost forgot I got the job!" Nate held his hand up as an invitation for a high five and Jaxon gave it to him.
Nate had applied to a job at a local shop on the old Ripper Street, the same street Alice lived on, or used to anyways, he didn't think she lived there anymore, she probably erased everything that reminded her about him.
"That's awesome Nate congrats."
"Thanks man, hey can't we go out celebrating?"
"No I think I'm going to stay home tonight.
"Aw don't be such a baby, besides you don't have to be scared Jack the Ripper hasn't killed in the last four months."
Nate was becoming a criminologist as well, and he was very interested in "Jack". Little did he know that he was closer to him than he though.
"I'm not scared of Jack the Ripper, Nate."
"Well I'm sorry mister tough guy, but I am, that man killed, like a lot."
"Well duh, but he hasn't killed since December so he probably got sick if it and moved to the Bahamas or something."
"Have I ever told you that you are quite funny Jax?"
"Yes every time I say something."
As they where getting close to the dorm they saw two girls waiting for them. One of them had long blond hair and defiantly fake breast and the other looked a little more natural with a brown bob haircut, but she was definitely as fake as the blond one.
"Hi can we help you?" Jaxon said in a bored tone.
They started to giggle and Jaxon saw that Nate was enjoying it very much.
"Of course we can help them Jaxon." Nate said and stepped beside the blond one and placed his arm around her hip.
"This way ladies, and my name is Nate Brooks and this is my roommate Jaxon Rivers."
Jaxon rolled his eyes at the same time the blond girl started to speak.
"I'm Chloe and this is my best friend Natasha."
"Wow great but Nate if you want to "help" these young ladies go out or something I'm staying in the dorm."
"But I can stay with you!" Natasha said in a very over the top voice.
"No." Jaxon said shortly and closed the door in their face.
The last thing Jaxon needed were two bimbos destroying his Friday night.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was about a week later and Jaxon was sitting in his last class for the day when he got a text from Nate.
- meet me on the parking lot later i have someone I'd like you to meet ;)
- if it's another bimbo then f u c k y o u.
- oh it's not, and this one is definitely mine bro.
Great time to meet Nate's new girlfriend again. It was no secret that was the campus flirt.
The lesson rolled on after that and it was time to head out to the parking lot.
Jaxon saw Nate standing besides his car that had the passenger door open so Jaxon couldn't see who the girl was.
When he was close Nate and Jaxon greeted each other and then the mystery girl went out of the car.

Alice P.O.V -
That day the door bell rang, right after she got home from Jaxon? It was just the delivery man that had a package from the United States, for her best friend. She always got Alice American things and shipped them to her, just to keep her motivated to keep saving money so she could come to the states. It hurt a bit when she got them because there was no way she was going to make it now.
Now four months after, her life had rolled on. She got a job at the local shop on ripper street.
She even met a guy! His name was Nate and he was the new guy at work, but she still couldn't stop thinking about Jaxon, she couldn't even move away from her old apartment, just in case if he decided to come back for her.
At least she hadn't heard anything from Jack the Ripper, so maybe he had changed. He hadn't killed since December so Alice kept her hopes up.
Nate and her had been going out for about a week and he wanted her to meet his roommate, which was a little early she thought but she agreed to meeting him.

Alice was sitting in Nate's car when she heard that Nate started talking and she decided to get out of the car.
When she turned around to face Nate and his friend she had a smile on, but it soon dropped when she saw who Nate's friend was.
"Jaxon."
"Alice."
"Do you two know each other?"
Jaxon was speechless so Alice decided to talk.
"Yeah we are eh old friends."
Alice smiled at Nate and she felt Jaxon's stare burn into the side of her face.

Jaxon P.O.V -
Friends? Friends? How could she call us "old friends"?
"Old friends? Yeah I guess we were very good friends back in the day, when we both loved each other." Jaxon spat out with out thinking.
"What you guys were a thing?" Nate asked with the jealousy clear in his eyes.
"Eh yeah we were." Alice said.
God he missed her voice.
"Well I guess I'll leave you guys then." Nate said while storming off.
"Nate!" Alice yelled but Jaxon was surprised that she didn't run after him.
They both looked at each other and it was Alice who broke the silence first.
"So you go to university now?"
"Yeah"
"What are you studying?"
"I'm becoming a criminologist."
When he said that Alice burst out laughing. He'd missed that to.
"I'm sorry I just think it's ironic that the biggest criminal of our time is becoming a criminologist."
"Yeah it is, but I might be good at it."
"I stand by what I wrote, you can become whatever you want."
"Well you didn't stand by the "yours truly" part."
"I'm sorry but I'm not going to wait around for a guy that didn't want to stop killing for me!"
Luckily the parking lot was empty.
"I'm sorry Alice, I'm sorry for what I did to you, and for what I didn't do. But I've stopped now. I'm trying to change."
"I know, and I've forgiven you Jaxon, I did that as soon as I started missing you."
"I love you Alice."
Alice smiled and tilted her head up so she could look into his eyes.
"I love you to Jax."
