Hi! It's been a long time now I know and I'm soooo sorry I haven't had time to update and I ended on kind of a cliffhanger. But it's better late then never right?

Nate rushed to the bathroom and saw Alice hunched over the toilet.
"What's wrong Alice? Should we go to the hospital?"
If Alice didn't feel sick she would've smiled because Nate is so caring and sweet. He had a worried frown on his beautiful face and all Alice wanted to do was to reach out and smooth out his frowned forehead. But that was until she puked again.
When she finally had the strength to talk she said; "no it's probably just the stomach flu or something."
"But we should get it checked out anyways."
Alice knew that if she didn't go to the hospital Nate would nag her about it for years.
"Fine lets to to the hospital. But you have to bring a plastic bag if you don't want me to vomit in your car."
Alice said with a roll of her eyes.

When they reached the hospital Alice felt a lot better and she tried to change Nate's mind and go home again but he didn't listen. Did he ever?

They went up to the receptionist and asked if it was possible if they could see a doctor and she said that they had to wait in the hallway but a doctor would come and get them in a few minutes.
When the doctor finally arrived he presented himself as Dr. Hansen and then he showed Nate and Alice to a examine room. After Dr. Hansen took a blood test he went to get it examined.
"I hope it's just a stomach flue and nothing serious." Nate said braking the comfortable silence.
"It's nothing serious Nate stop overreacting."
"They usually don't get a blood test if they can tell by the symptoms that it's just the stomach flue." Nate said with a pointed look.
"I didn't know you were a doctor too."
"Ha ha very funny, I'm just looking out for the love of my life is that wrong?"
"Of course not but your overreacting."
"We'll see."
Nate was the most stubborn person in the entire world Alice thought when Dr. Hansen walked into the room again.
"Well the news I have can be both good and bad, depending on how you see it."
"What is it doctor?" Nate said while gripping Alice's hand.
"Miss Lightwood, congratulations you are pregnant!"
"What?!"
Even though Alice loved Nate with everything in her, she was scared that he didn't want a family, especially not this soon. But her thoughts changed fast when she saw Nate's expression. He looked truly happy.
"Aren't you happy Alice we are going to have a little baby!"
"Yes of course I'm happy, I'm just surprised."

The next day Alice woke up alone knowing that Nate was at work.
The day moved slowly and Alice has been thinking the entire day that she should visit Jaxon, even though she knew it was a bad idea. But did Alice ever listen to her intuition? Nope.

When she arrived at the prison she expected to be sent home with the words, he doesn't warn to see you.
But they showed her into the visiting room and there he was, with his brown soft hair and intimidating look. He had gotten a very attractive five o'clock shadow from not shaving in a couple of days. Somehow prison had made him more attractive. Why did she all of the sudden think like this? She loved Nate, it was probably just the pregnancy hormones.
While she was approaching him she felt her heart beating faster and her hands started to sweat. Why did she do this, she wished that she could just run out of there. But it was to late for that now. She hadn't seen him in more than two years and he hadn't acknowledged her yet because he was looking out the window next to him.
He first looked up when Alice dragged out the chair.
He looked at her and the gave her his signature smirk.
"Hey Alice, long time no see."
"You didn't want to see me." She firmly stated while sitting down.
"Not in the first six months but you haven't been here the last two years."
"I know, I'm sorry but I really didn't like sitting outside of here like an idiot while the workers looked at me like I was an idiot for sitting and crying because Jack the Ripper didn't want to see me."
"When you put it that way it makes sense." Jaxon said with a shrug of his shoulders like it was no big deal.
"I can't believing I'm even here. I shouldn't have come. How stupid can I be for thinking that you would be happy to see me."
"Pretty stupid when you think about the fact that you basically put me here."
"I NEVER TOLD HIM ANYTHING!" Alice screamed while standing up so fast that her chair fell backwards.
"Miss please take it easy or you have to leave." A guard said while walking towards her.
Alice apologized and sat down again.
"Now Alice please tell me why you are here. No actually let me guess, you're here to apologize or because you want me, I hope the last one is true because I've been lonely in here, but it would be problematic because the guards rarely leave my side, they think I'm dangerous or something like that." He said while rolling his eyes.
Alice couldn't believe him, this is not the Jaxon Alice knew.
"What happened to you, this is not like you."
"Prison happened Alice."

Hey this is just a short chapter because I have a song that really fits to the next part of Alice's and Jaxon's talk so I'm saving that part until next chapter.
