Third person POV
it was the day of the competition. shuhua,heejin,ryujin,gahyeon and yujin were in their respective classes, waiting for the clock to strike 10am and they will go change into their jerseys and meet each other at the canteen.

"9.59..." the team members counted while tapping their foot. they already packed everything into their bags.

shuhua and ryujin kissed their girlfriends goodbye first.

"3..2..1.. 10!" the team members shouted at '10'. they took their bags, stood up and rushed out of their classes while greeting their teachers.

"bye teacher" they left the class with people in the class wishing them luck. they gave a thumbs up to the people in their classes and rushed to the toilet to change into their jersey.

they all changed and they ran to the canteen and when they saw each other they greeted each other.

Shuhua POV
"GOODLUCK PEOPLEEEEE" heejin shouted and the rest of us shouted, "LETS GOOOO"

we walked towards the bus waiting area and saw our teacher in charge and our coach there.

"hi teacher, hi coach" we greeted and they smiled at us and wished us good luck too.

we boarded the school bus when it came and we were sitting at our own places, planning on where our positions were and how we were going to defend.

"okay all got it?" i asked.

"yes captain!" the rest shouted.

"let's do our cheer." gahyeon suggested and we all agreed. we put our hands together and shouted,

"1!2!3! WE ARE THE BEST! LETS GO! WOOOO!"

after that the bus was filled with much laughters and talks.

yes, we were nervous, but we've trained for this.

we don't know when the tournament might end and school ends early today so my friend group, (G)I-DLE, heejin's friend group, LOONA, ryujin's friend group,ITZY, gahyeon's  friend group, DREAMCATCHER, and yujin's friend group, IZ*ONE, decided to come and watch our match.

we reached the arena and we walked towards the court. we then placed our bags on our designated bench area and warmed up. we took some balls and started shooting to warm up our shootings and we did some layups to warm up our layups too.

-awhile passed-

the match was going to start, it was so intense, we and the opponent spread around the court. we were going to do jump ball.

me, the captain, against the opponent's team captain, for the jump ball.

i could feel the adrenaline rush down my spine.

i was so nervous. god damnit.

let's go!

the referee blew the whistle and threw the ball up, me and the opponent jumped to get the ball but i was faster so i smacked it to heejin.

Third person POV
heejin got the ball from shuhua and started dribbling towards their goal, jimin ran as fast as she could and blocked her, heejin protected the ball and passed it to ryujin.
