"hey tomorrow's my mother's birthday, i'm going to visit her, you wanna come with me?" i asked.
"eh.. sorry.. i cant.. i would be quite busy tomorrow, projects and stuffs." miyeon explained.
"okay then, i'll go by myself."
we reached home and the both of us walked to our own rooms to do our own things. i went to take a shower and started gaming on my bed again. miyeon then texted me asking what i wanted to eat for lunch, i couldn't reply to her because i was gaming so she came into my room.
"shuhua! what do you wanna eat for lunch?"
"i don't know, anything." i said with my eyes still fixated on my phone.
"sushi?" miyeon asked.
"sure."
"ok i'll order it." miyeon said and i just nodded my head. she then walked out of my room and the match ended. i then brought my laptop from my table to my bed and went to watch some youtube videos.
after a few minutes, the sushi came and i heard the doorbell ring, i heard footsteps going down the stairs and i knew it was miyeon so i took my phone and went downstairs to the dining table to eat.
{ night time }
i was just doing my own thing when i got a text in the group chat with yuqi, elkie and tzuyu.

{ the next day }
i woke up at around 12 noon and prepared to go to the cemetery. i wore a black hoodie, gray sweatpants and my adidas sneakers.
before i went to put on my shoes, i went to miyeon's room to bid goodbye. "bye miyeon unnie, i'll see you later."
"bye shuhua, stay safe" miyeon said and came up to me and hugged me.
i then close her room door and went to wear my shoes, i went to my mum's cemetery by taking a cab.
i reached there in about 10 minutes, when i stepped into my mother's cemetery, i broke down immediately seeing her picture there, remembering those times where she had been with me. i put the flowers down and talked.
"hey mum.. how have you been? i hope you've been doing well.. well because i ain't. ever since you've left, everything had just gone downfall, i wish i could just kill myself and be with you mum.. but i'm scared.. i'm scared of what's gonna come in the after life, i'm scared i can't be with you.. i'm a coward.. i'm weak.. i'm a loser.. i can't live without you. but i don't know why i'm still alive. something in me just keep telling me that you're still by my side i shouldn't kill myself.." i said while slight sobs in between.
"happy birthday mum.. i hope you spend your birthday well up there.. in heaven.. with the gods, promise you'll always be by my side?" i then put our my hand to show the hand gesture of the 'pinky promise sign'. "pinky promise?" i said. i couldn't see anything, but i felt a presence in front of me and connecting the pinky promise sign. i then started to break down once again.
{ at night }
i stayed there the whole day and when it was time to go home i put my hood up and used my thumb to wipe off the dust on my mother's picture, and picked up my bag.
i was so damn tired after crying so much, i crosses the road with my head hanging low and i didn't notice the car speeding towards me.
HONK HONK
neither did i hear the honking sound.
