The base was mostly underground from what I can tell. Hank had settled the jet not far from the base but with the stealth tech, we got to the ground safely.

"So I'll head in alone and...."

"What no," Peter said quickly moving next to me.

"Peter is right You shouldn't be going in alone," Hank said standing up from the piolet seat.

"It's called a team for a reason," Gene added and I sighed.

"If we all go in then they won't tell me anything."

"Then I'll just go with you. If we need either of you I'll contact Gene." Before either of them could respond I let out a soft gasp now being outside in the bushes by the base.

"Ok, I guess we're doing this now. Pete go grab one of the key cards that the guards have." Peter nodded zooming off and coming back just as quick. "Good now all we need is to get into the main doors." he raised the card before I could grab it.

"Ah nope, a kiss first." Raising an eyebrow at him Peter just grinned.

"I'll give you more than just a kiss after this is done." He moves in fast kissing me, cupping my face Peter didn't move back for a moment.  The key card was placed in my hand. "Ok. We can't use your speed because you'll need to slow down to wait for the door to open so we'll just need to wait for...." A truck came around the corner and once the doors opened Peter took us inside before I activated my ability. Walking around invisible with Peter the first lower floor was a loading dock and weaponry. Using the key card on a few doors more and more people were around. "All we need to find is Brians office then." And now we were in an office. Frowning at Peter he smirked letting go of my waist so I could look around. His office was above ground unlike most of the compound.
I went through few files on the desk.
"It looks like they know about how I got here. A radio frequency court wind of my teleportation here." Peter came next to me eating one of the sweets on the desk.

"I don't understand, what're all the numbers?"

"They're trying to recreate the blimp, but somethings not right." The office door opened making Peter and I look up.

"That's right miss...."

"Stark." The door shut behind quickly and I held peters forearm before he tried anything. "Why have you been trying to take me for the past week?"

"Why have you travelled to another dimension?" Sighing softly I glanced to Peter. He shook his head but I think they'll know more.

"I didn't tend to come here. In fact, I'm more of collateral damage." Brian scratched his chin walking over to a chalkboard pulling down a large screen.

"Did you intend for your friend to join you?" It was a blurred image of someone in a suit similar to dads but silver. Squinting my eyes the suit wasn't finished or was being prepared

"No, I don't know him. The suit it's damaged, have you been tracking him?" a sheet was passed to me with more information.

"He came here with the same signal as you but in the city. We've been tracking him but lost contact over a week ago. That's when a laboratory had a break-in."

"So you're not trying to kidnap mutants?" Brian chuckled shaking his head.

"Shows how much your little school knows. I am a mutant myself." flicking off his glove his nails were extremely sharp. "I'm able to scratch into anything including titanium. My job is to work out who to trust and who to not." the glove was put back on. The tips must have some sort of blocker between the glove. "Your appearance was sudden and could have meant anything. My superiors wanted to make sure you weren't a threat. I can see now you're only looking for answers."

Something was off about this, that blast sent both me and someone at random but why? Or was he in the area when the blast took place?

"I hope to work together on this, but for now this is all we can go off from. I'll see you out."

"No need." Gasping as Peter suddenly took us to the main doors that were shut. Everyone in the loading dock stopped and guns were pointed at us.

"Wayda go Pete." I inhaled and exhaled out try to get the door to open behind us.

"State your business here!" Peter went to move but I held tightly onto his forearm.

"Just wait Peter." an intercom went off.

"Please let my new friends out the doors gentlemen." Peter was anxious, to say the least. While on the flight back to the mansion his foot was tapping on the floor real fast.

Charles wanted a review of the mission but Peter stood to the side. It wasn't until I went up to peters room shutting the door behind me.

"Are you alright? You've been quiet which..." He was originally on his bed but was now right in front of me.

"What's going to happen if you find a way home? Will you just forget all this happened and move on?"

"Peter just...." He interrupted me.

"And why do you trust Brian? He tried kidnapping you. Mutant or not...."

"Peter!" he stopped and looked at me. "I don't fully trust him which is why I bugged the systems. We can hear all the conversations he has through this." holding up a modified tape player Peter let out a soft sigh. "And as for me getting back, I'm honestly not too sure. Originally it was easy you know. Find a way home and leave, but now I have you here. But I can't just forget about my dad and pepper. My family." A shaky breath followed and Peter took hold of my hand.

"Let's just focus on this asshole, Brian."
