Nathaniel is in the interrogation room for more questioning. I denied the opportunity to question him because I frankly, do not want to see him and his evil eyes. Peyton offers to do the job, and he gets it. He smirks as he marches into the room. I watch from behind the one way glass. A nervous tick kicks in and I begin to bite my nails. Nathaniel is sitting down, handcuffed to the table of course. I believe me boss sees him as a threat, especailly since he's the main suspect in these two cases.

Peyton sits down on the edge of the table and looks down at Nathaniel. They exchange glances before starting.

"Why am I in here again. Especially with you?! I want Dakota." Nathaniel demands. Peyton stands up and shakes his head. I can feel all the tension coming from the poorly lit room.

"Because you my friend, are in some deep shit and we need answers." Peyton tells the truth to him. Nathaniel looks pissed, but there's nothing he can do. Peyton pulls out a photograph and lays it down in front of him. I can't tell what's going on, or what the picture is about, but I sense that things are about to get heated.

"Where did you get this picture?" Nate asks as he pushes the picture away. He slumps down into his chair and folds his arms as he did in the first go around.

"well, I did some background checks and found some information. A few of your buddies had told me that you hooked up with her in high school and a few times in 2012." Peyton explains. A name pops into mind, but I can't be too sure. Nathaniel smiles and looks way from Peyton. Wow, the grey painted wall must be interesting.

"I still hook up with her. Get your facts straight." Nathaniel corrects Peyton. Peyton writes that down then closes the files. He grabs the photograph and shoves it into the folder. Peyton walks around the room, attempting to intimidate him.

"When was the last time you saw her?" Peyton slams his hands down on top of the table, and leans on them. Nathaniel jumps a bit, but that's because he was startled.

"Two days ago." Now Nathaniel is getting frustrated because he knows we are blaming him for everything, or more. We know that Nathaniel is the killer, and hi9s alibi is because that Jess got in his way, and he wanted her gone. He didn't want anyone to have her, not even him. He didn't want her.

"I know you killed your wife who widowed you. Just admit it already." Peyton's voice is soft, and mellow like he's sincere. This is a touchy topic because I know what he's going to bring up next.

He pullsd out another picture, but this one is of his sister when she was alive. He slides it over to Nathaniel and he looks starstruck from seeing her. She is beautiful, but that's no reason to kill her.

"Where is she? I miss Jasmyne." Nathaniel asks. Peyton is now creeped out and pissed. He's frustrated because he's tired of playing games. We all are tired of playing games. Nate stands up from his seat and places his hands down on the table, mimicking Peyton.

"I killed her. Just before I killed her, I slept with her. She enjoyed it so much, she even told me that I'm the best she's ever had." My stomach feels like it's going to fall through my butt. Just hearing him say that made me sick, and I'm sure Peyton feels disgusted too. Peyton slaps Nathaniel hard enough for him to fall. Peyton stands up and walks out of the room. I have a feeling he's going to run outside to cool off.

I follow Peyton outside and he's crying. I've never seen a grown man cry, but this is mo0re than just crying. This is happiness, but frustration and anger. If Peyton didn't have so much self control, he would kill Nathaniel. Nate will probably only get 10 years in prison. That's good, but not good enough.

I hug Peyton tightly, but he pushes me away. I lose my balance and fall on my butt. I stand up and walk back inside to find Aralia. She's in the interrogation room with Nathaniel, arresting him. When she walks out with Nate leading, I flinch a little. I watch them walk to the cells, where Nathaniel will be living for some years.

I rub my butt due to the sharp pains. I sigh and grab my things before escaping through the back door to avoid Peyton. There'a more to it. There's someone that Nate has been protecting and I want to know who. I slip out of the back door and begin to walk home. It's in the middle of the day, so the sun is shining bright.

It's not a long walk back to the apartment, just feels like it is. It takes me half an hour to get back.

I unlock the door and find that Carson is alone watching cartoons. I sure as hell hope that Peyton hired a sitter.

I search the apartment for anyone, but there appears to be no one. I sit down on the couch and wait for Peyton to eventually show up.
