"Sweetheart I think it time we talked" dad said
Natalia's PoV
'I knew this was coming' I thought I just nodded and started looking around at all my brothers I didn't really want to tell them.
"I want you all out except Leo" dad told them before they left except Leo
"Where should I start" I said
"From the beginning, take your time okay" dad said I nodded
"For the first 9 years of my life it was just me and mum. She was the best mum I could ask for we didn't have much but all I wanted was her" I sniffles as dad rubbed my back
"She worked in a small department store that's where she met T-Taylor my stepfather" I stuttered upon saying his name
"After a month she decided to bring him to the house so I could meet him at first he was okay but then he started coming over more until he eventually moved in" I said dad and Leo where listening closely
"3 months after he moved in they started to have problems they where arguing a lot and mum was accusing him of cheating then one day during an argument he slapped her. He kept apologising saying he didn't mean it and she forgave him" I said as dad had tensed a little
"2 months before my 10th birthday mum started getting sick at first she thought she was pregnant but then she started couthing up blood so her and T-Talor went to the hospital once they came back she sat me down and she said that she was ill and it was cancer" I whimpered as tears where threatening to fall
"She started having chemo but it wasn't working eventually she started loosing her hair and was getting weaker everyday, Taylor was barely home so I had to help around the house and help prepare her medication" I said
"A-and Then a week before my birthday when i got home from school I- I found her passed out on the floor so I had to call an ambulance and they took us both to the hospital and they said that s-she didn't have long" I sniffled as dad kept rubbing my back
"A-and s-she d-died t-the d-day b-before my birthday" I cried
"Shh shh it's okay you don't have to carry on if you don't want to" dad comforted
"I want too, I need you to know everything" I said he nodded and I carried on
"The day after she died Taylor came to the hospital and took me home. A week went by then it was the day of the funeral Taylor said he didn't want to spend his money so she didn't have a nice casket or flowers god she didn't even have a headstone" I said and started to cry again
"After the funeral that's when Taylor first hit me at first it was a couple of slaps then it was punching,kicking and cutting but the worst was when he would send me to the b-b-basement and w-whip me"I was full on crying Leo and dad both had angry expressions Leo's fists where clenched ready to punch something.
"H-he wouldn't let me eat anything so I started loosing weight which made the hits hurt worser. I started saving up as much money as I could so I could pay for my school lunch but I would keep most of it so I could finally get my mum a headstone it took be 5 years but I finally had the money but Taylor stole it and spent it on alcohol instead so I just gave up" I sighed
"Who's Steve" Leo blurted Out I froze how did he know that name.
"H-how d-do you know that n-name" I stuttered
"You said the name Steve while you where having the nightmare" Leo said
"Taylor had these two friends who would come over they would help him punish me" I said
"That who the dream was about, he took me to the basement and strangled me until I blacked out" I whimpered
"Dad I'm going to kill them" Leo seethed dad ignored him
"I need to know, d-did they touch you" dad said worried
"They did touch me in places but I wouldn't let them get any further" I replied dad sighed in relief
"I actually head butted Taylor once he had the biggest bruise on his forehead" I chucked
"That's my girl" dad said as he reached over and hugged me once dad pulled back Leo went and hugged me too.
Leo said goodnight and went to open the bedroom door *oomf* Rocco, Romeo and Luke all fell through the open door Romeo was on top of Rocco and Luke was on top of Romeo.
"What do you boys think you are doing" dad said sternly
"Nothing" Rocco replied as he shoved Romeo and Luke off of him
"W-where you listening" I said
"Um no of course not" Romeo lied
"Luke" dad said as he had this death stare Luke started scratching his neck
"Uh,uh he told us to " he pointed towards Rocco
"And if he told you to jump of a bridge would you do it" Luke shook his head
"Sorry" Luke apologised
"It's your sister you should apologise to" dad said as all three of them looked at me
"It's fine I'm glad they know" I said the three boys looked relieved
"Bambina I need to know the names of Taylor's friends" Leo said
"Um I think it was David manning, I don't know Steve last name sorry" I replied Leo nodded.
"Okay its late so boys bed now" dad said there was a couple of 'goodnights' said as they left dad was about to leave until I stopped him
"Dad would you be able to stay until I fall asleep please" I said
"Of course let me just go and change and I'll be back" dad said before he left after about 10 minutes he came back wearing black sweatpants and a white vest I slid onto the other side of the bed so he could get on the bed.
"Goodnight " I yawned as i layed down
"Night princess" I heard and felt him kiss my forehead as I closed my eyes and finally fell asleep
