Alive, Again?

Interesting Breakfast

Kaede's POV

I feel the pressure of the persons body release me, watching them pick up the hat I get up as well. Dusting off my skirt I turn around to see Shuichi and gasp. I quickly put him into a tight hug. I release him and take a step back.

" I've missed you Shuichi! " I say with a polite smile. I fold my hands behind my back, I am so glad to see him! He was a really good friend when we were in the game, plus, I need him to finish out Miu's story so I know what happened. 

" O-Oh, Kaede. It's nice to see you too. " I see him sigh, pulling down his hat over his face a bit. I wonder why...

" What's with the sigh? Something on your mind? " I ask as I look under his hat, bending over so I can see his face. 

" It's nothing, Just relived that your alright. " He tries to give me a reassuring smile but it looks way too forced. I chuckle.

" Stop smiling like that, You look like your forcing a smile for a family photo or something! " I say as I stand back up and bump his hat further down by hitting the front part. I see Kiibo and Kokichi walk towards us from the corner of my eye and turn towards them as Shuichi fixes his hat.

" Morning once again you two! Glad to see you showed up. " Kiibo says with a smile. He grabs the back of Kokichi's shirt holding onto it he tries to sneak away. Pouting he looks towards Shuichi and his eyes light up.

" SHUUUUMAI! " He jumps onto Shuichi, forcing him to catch the smaller boy. He has a nervous smile on his face, and is that blush? I watch as Kokichi takes Shuichi's and and put it on.

" H-Hey, give that back Kokichi. " He says as he puts the purple haired boy down and extends his hand for his hat. Kokichi giggles and spins around. Before turning back to Shuichi, pulling at his eye and sticking out his tongue. 

" If you want this hat your gonna have to take it from me! " He says before running out of the dining area, Shuichi started the pursuit of the small thief. Leaving me and Kiibo behind. 

" Well, the're rather lively today. " I see Kiibo smile as he turns towards me. I smile in response.

" They sure are. " I say as I turn to sit at one of the longer tables. Shuichi seems to be acting the same so that's a score. How many people is that now? First Kokichi, then Miu making two, followed by Kiibo that means three. Then I met Tenko and Himiko making five, adding Gonta and Ryoma would all add up to...One, Two, Three, 4, 5, 6, 7! Seven participants are acting normal! That's good. I wonder how everyone else is doing...

" So...What are you thinking about Kaede? " Asked Kiibo from next to me, making me turn towards his direction. 

" Just wondering how everyone else is. " I said with another smile of mine, looking around the room I notice a familiar long haired male, he's talking to a certain Atua praising artist. Looking around  the other way I see Kaito and Kirumi talking. I wonder what they are speaking about, I never see them speaking to each other. 

A few moments later Kokichi is being dragged in my Maki, Shuichi right behind them with his hat on his head. If they just arrived then that just means we are missing Tenko, Himiko, Gonta, Miu, Tsumugi, Ryoma and...Rantaro.

  I lay my head down on the table in front of me, This is going to be a headache. How will I even talk to him? 'Hello Rantaro, I'm sorry for killing you. Let's be friends though!' Will he even forgive me? I mean he is a pretty understanding guy but that doesn't mean he's going to forgive me! As I think I remember what Miu said...Did I really start the killing game? Wow, the fact it went on means I got the wrong person. Killing a Innocent man out of desperation...Wow Kaede...You snooped so low just because you felt threatened. What is wrong with you? You should've just caught him instead, it would have avoided the whole killing game. You could've saved everyone but you just wanted it to be over sooooooo bad! Damn it Kaede! I groan as I look up from laying me head in my arms.

" What's wrong Kaede, something on your mind? " Asked Shuichi that is now sitting right next to me. I look over at him and sigh.

" Just wondering what happened after I got a Game Over. Would you tell me all that happened after Miu's death? " I asked politely. Now resting my head in my hand, I look over to see Tenko and Himiko come in. I also notice how Gonta was now chatting with Angie and Shingucci. Now we are just waiting on four more before we got everyone together. Turning back to Shuichi with a smile as he has his hand on his chin. It seems like he is thinking.

" Well, After Miu's death we found out- " He started.

After around 30 minutes of Shuichi explaining in great detail, I am just shocked. So, Tsumugi was the Mastermind after all? I would have never guessed. I hear a loud crash behind me and look towards the sound. And there was Tenko, who, in fact, just threw Kaito. 

" Take that degenerate male! " She yelled as she stepped on him and twisted his arm.

" Alright, Alright, Just please stop twisting my arm! " Kaito said as he layed on the floor. That looks really painful, luckily Maki walks over to save the astronaut. 

" If you don't wanna die let him go. " She said as she glared at Tenko, this made Tenko stop twisting his arm but she still kept him on the ground.

" Make him apologize! " He shouted back at Maki, who took a few steps towards the two before crouching and asking Kaito what he did wrong.

" I didn't do anything! All I did was try to pat Himiko! " This made Tenko furious, twisting his arm once again.

This caused Maki to try and grab Tenko's arm. She immanently reacted by grabbing Maki's wrist and trying to throw her. But as Tenko turned to throw Maki she jumped onto Tenko's back. Tenko rammed her back onto the wall with enough force to knock the wind out of Maki, making her hold on tighter and accidentally choking Tenko. Tenko responded with ramming her back into the wall a second time, trying to shake Maki off. The more she tried to take the Ultimate Assassin off the tighter the choke got. As Tenko started to get light headed she kept slamming Maki into the wall until she passed out.

As Tenko hit the floor Maki rolled off her, blood coming from her head. She sighed as she stood up, walking towards Kaito. While they were fighting he gotten up and rushed to Maki's side.

" Maki Roll! Your bleeding! " He said as he held her by her shoulders and examined her wound carefully. 

A few Nurses rushed in with Kiibo right behind them, I am guessing he got them during the fight. They checked up on Tenko before treating Maki, examining both carefully. Maki just had her wound cleaned and bandaged. Tenko on the other hand was had to be taken back to her room, Himiko followed the nurses out of the room when they left. 

" That was...Something. " I finally hear Shuichi say. I look over to the boy to see a shocked expression on his face, I bet I had the same look on my face. 

" That sure was... " I responded still processing what just happened.
